aste): My ex came after me for child support (including retroactive child support) for prior years after my son was already a teenager. We are still in the process of finalizing this nightmare, but Kamryn Caldwell was my saving grace and has diligently worked to pursue settlement agreements and ensure that the Attorney General’s figures for retroactive child support were correct (and of course, they weren’t). After Ms. Caldwell met with the Attorney General informally, he was on board with Ms. Caldwell’s numbers (she used to be a financial analyst by the way, which doesn’t hurt…just saying). She is literally saving me thousands of dollars in retroactive child support. I appreciate Ms. Caldwell’s attention to detail and excellent representation of my interests. Without her, I would be stuck with an order forcing me to pay thousands of dollars more than what the true calculations are. Best group of attorneys I’ve ever been around. Katy is always available to answer my many questions. They don’t nickel and dime you. They have done several services for me without a fee. I recently hired cordell for my case. I feel that I received the short end of the stick. . I have until July 1 to retrieve all my belongings and take them , I have no idea where. Oh and I have to start paying her 414 a month child support starting in July also. She makes 175k a year, I barely make 10. I had a great job but had to quit because our child was born premature so I stayed home for a year to take care of her. My reward...getting locked out of the house and currently homeless. I received no spousal support...nothing but 2k for my trouble that shes gonna get back in a few months because of child support. I am currently without a job and a 60% disabled vet but that doesn't mean much these days. Veterans arent recognized in the civilian capacity as they should. No one knows what we went though or the sacrifices we made. I did not feel I was made whole as the business with cordell concluded.
