He was able to help us settle a complicated financial and child custody case through mediation with diligence. I am thankful for the way we can now look forward to new beginnings for our family. This guy was smacking on some bacon 🥓 while speaking with me about my divorce consultation. I asked him, “Are you taking a shower? Because I heard all this cracking in the background that sounded like water running . He retorted, “ Nah just cooking some bacon ?” I’m sorry but can you stop and give me 15 min of your precious time for my precious money please?! How insensitive and incredibly unprofessional can a person be! And then have the audacity to ask me for a $5000 retainer. If your skills as an attorney mimic in the least your inability to be empathetic to my difficult and hurtful situation of divorcing my husband of over a .decade. Well count me at a loss straight out the door while you and your bacon smacking self swindle me out of a quick $5k plus. Thanks for making my decision easy.

Greg Housewirth is one of the most knowledgeable and down to earth people you will ever meet. He has served our family in a mediation/consulting role on a couple of occasions and has brought to light his vast knowledge of difficult co-parenting situations. He has the most calm demeanor and his manner puts everyone at ease immediately. He was clearly made to do this type of work. He is a saint when it comes to patience and he seems to understand human nature at it's deepest primal level. Our family will forever be indebted to this man and I'm sure we will be using him in the future. I would highly recommend him to any family seeking legal help with child custody issues. He also has the wisdom to navigate creative and loving solutions and he always takes the time needed to come to solutions that benefit all involved. He is a saint and he restores integrity to the sometimes cold-hearted legal world.

My case was very simple. All of the paper work was complete and needed only to be sent in. Still this process took 3 months and several thousand dollars to complete. Everything eventually was complete. My experience is echoed in the comments on other customers rating their experience. I had to tell him what was in the paperwork he charged me to look over. I am not sure how this is possible, yet it happened a few times. As well as billing for services which seemed unethical. Many many times question we’re not responded to. It was a constant managment of him and his staff. It was as if they believed I worked for them when In reality they worked for me. Needing to schedule my own appointments through the system. Also, I met him in person 1 time during the three month process. This was when we met at the court house for 30 minutes for me to sign the divorce decree created by my x’s lawyer. Oh, then he charged me for a court appearance. Well, our court date was never happened. When you pay as much as he charges you would think you would get better service and responses. My advice is this. If you have a simple case he is your man. If your case is complicated. I would recommend finding a different lawyer. I would not have used this firm if my case would have not already been 90 percent completed. My experience was below expectations and to expensive for the for the service I received. He is not the worst lawyer in DFW. He finally got to the end. Although, you will not be getting the premium lawyer for the price point he charges. I rate my experience as a generous 3 star. Update. After reading my honest review. He called and left a harassing message calling me names and derogatory comments about me. Just a sad example to f not what to do. He left a message stating he didn’t want to take my case in the beginning because I was abusive. Of course this was after he has been paid several thousand of dollars which in reality could have been handled by any first year lawyer for much less and a direct result and retaliation for my review. Maybe he thinks leaving harassing messages will increase his star rating review. Just another red flag and one I will be reporting to the state for review. I believe what he is referring to is when he would not return my calls and answer questions I told him he would be fired. This is not abuse. This is a customer unhappy with the way he treats his clients. I chose to stick it out due to the retainer fee I would have forfeited. Maybe this is part of his strategy. This is who you are getting. Can’t make this stuff up. I guess him being a below average lawyer hurt is ego. But it’s the truth. I would not recommended him after my experience. Have a blessed day.
