Mr. Freeman took time to hear my whole story, never once did I feel rushed. The staff at the Bodie Freeman law office was always quick to respond to questions or concerns that I had. I had worked with 3 lawyers for different objectives (not all divorce related), prior to meeting Mr Freeman. I can honestly say that his office set new expectations for excellence. The only advice I have, if you are considering going through a divorce, is to listen to his advice and guidance. I made the mistake of trying to make everyone happy and trusted that my x-husband would keep his word on some of his verbal commitments.... That has not been the case. Keep everything in writing and only file when you are ready to rely on someone else to be the expert and help you make the difficult calls. Good luck!

Mr. Freeman and his entire team were extremely supportive, knowledgeable and understanding from start to finish in my custody case. After 9 years of domestic violence and several threats from the Father, I finally gained the courage to file for child support to establish custody to ensure my daughter's safety wasn't at question. I originally filed through the OAG with no intention of hiring a lawyer as I thought this matter could be resolved peacefully. After my first appearance in Family Court, it was obvious that was not going to happen. My daughter's father refused to come to terms with me and went as far as threatening not only my life but the OAG's life during mediation. A kindhearted attorney escorted my family and I to find an officer to escort us to our vehicle after the threat was made and the Father requested for more time to hire a lawyer.
