Seems like an awesome firm to work with. Did an initial consult with Atty Dike and she was very thorough and knowledgable. She provided a lot of valuable information and gave me a lot to think about with business formation and growth. I will definitely be working with her to get my business started with.a strong, solid legal foundation.

Be very careful when hiring Samuel Mills. He was extremely unprofessional to work with and very unresponsive. Weeks would go by where he wouldn't return phone calls or emails that were just a simple question. I wasted three months dealing with him to send a simple demand letter and negotiate upon my behalf with a builder. I finally asked my realtor to finally reach out since she referred him to me and he quickly replied with a very rude message. She was absolutely mortified by how unprofessional he was and embarrassed that she even referred him. There are way too many lawyers in DFW to deal with someone as difficult as him. As frustrated as I was with his lack or response, that was nothing compared to the rage texts he sent me after I tried to follow up to get a copy of the second letter that he supposedly sent. He messaged me saying I wasted his time, that he only sent my letter as a favor, to find another lawyer and his fee is $500 per hour now. What a joke! He basically conned me and completely wasted my time. He likes to tote his accolades but lacks basic common sense when it comes to dealing with people. He offered zero guidance through the whole process and his lack of communication was pitiful. Don't give yourself the headache that comes in dealing with this guy.

I had high hopes for Ken Harter representing me as a small business owner. Initial meeting left me feeling positive and encouraged however after my $5k retainer I had very little if no contact with him, and had to initiate contact each and every time and was later handsomely billed for simple check-in calls/e-mails. Ken sent me someone other client's case files one time erroneously and seems to lack administrative help for billing and accessibility. If you are looking for an attentive, responsive attorney I would not choose Ken. I was disappointed with his service and ended up using someone else. He did very very little to help me and still charged me handsomely. He was very unresponsive to text, e-mail and knew nothing about my case and was very unclear on where I stood. Again I would not recommend or hire him if were given another opportunity to do so. Nothing personal-Ken is a friendly warm individual in person and seems knowledgeable but lacks the attentiveness and detail oriented skills you need to aggressively fight for you.

Sam Mills is a brilliant Attorney. He is professional, well spoken, and patient. Even though he graduated from Columbia University, he is very down to earth to speak with. He also gets back to you in a timely manner. I like the fact that Sam gives you two different payment options of either his hourly rate or a flat fee for the case he is working on for you. The flat fee is a smart option since you know what your legal fees will be upfront without any unexpected financial surprises. He is one of the best attorney’s out there and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is needing legal services.
