Again like the other reviews , no one to speak to , they waste your time filling a meaningless intake form , no one gets back to you until you "email " them and they can't handle a "simple" collection which has a court order to collect ? go figure a simple matter they cannot handle .

Aged, slow and unable to keep up with opposing counsel. Lost my case because I went with this guy. Learned a lesson about the saying you get what you pay for.

Don’t waste your time. The lawyer asked me to fill an intake form and write a paragraph with questions to ask. They never read the paragraph nor the intake form then the legal assistant email back asking questions that I already answered in the paragraph they requested! I called to ask wether they are willing to represent my son simple naturalization case and the Christina, the legal assistant, was very rude and obnoxious as she was pushing me to email again. Apparently they have more business than they can handle or they just don’t care!

If I could give this law office zero stars, I would. My experience with the Law Office of Kelley F. Whalen has been nothing short of disgraceful. I initially chose this firm based on its advertised participation in a prepaid legal plan, only to be met with an appalling level of unprofessionalism and rudeness from their staff. Firstly, the staff answering the phones are an absolute disgrace. From the moment I first called, I was met with a level of rudeness that was totally uncalled for. It felt as though they were going out of their way to be unhelpful, with curt responses and a dismissive attitude that made it clear they had no interest in assisting me. Despite the fact that the Law Office of Kelley F. Whalen had publicly committed to accepting clients under the prepaid legal plan, they flatly refused to take me on. When I inquired about their participation in the plan and why I was being turned away, their response was a mix of evasiveness and outright contempt. It became clear that either the office wasn’t properly briefed on the terms of their involvement or simply chose to ignore them. I was left with the distinct impression that this firm is not only failing in its basic professional duties but is also failing to honor commitments it has made to clients and service providers alike. The blatant disregard for customer service and contractual obligations makes it clear that the Law Office of Kelley F. Whalen is a firm to be avoided at all costs. If you value your time and sanity, steer clear of this office. There are plenty of other legal professionals out there who will treat you with the respect and consideration you deserve.

I wanted to use them as part of my benefits at my company but they never responded to me after I sent over the information they requested. When you are seeking help from a lawyer you're probably already dealing with some issues in your life, and then to be completely ignored by those who can help you on top of that is unfortunate.

I didn't want to give any stars, but it was required to leave a post. I received a referral for this attorney and I've advised them to remove them. I contacted them on 08/05/24 and was told I would receive an email and to complete and send information back. I completed it the same day. I followed up several days later only to be told during the 1st 10 minutes of the call my email couldn't be located. After finally locating it I was told someone would contact me. On 08/12/24 I sent another email requesting they destroy the information I sent as it appears they are either unable to assist me, or have decided not to assist me because I still hadn't received any contact from their firm. I wouldn't suggest them to my worst enemy.

If I could I'd go lower, things started off great but quickly went down hill and ending with me having to call multiple times a day just to even get a response sometimes not at all. In the end I had to reach out to the opposing council to close out my estate case. Very disappointed, Mr. Whalen seems like a very nice man but doesn't take care of business. I'd look elsewhere if you need representation.

Please train your staff on how to professionally answer your phones .

Took less than an hour dealing with the office staff to realize how rude they are.

Actual rating 0 stars! Worst law firm ever! They sent me the wrong contract for "limited" representation instead of for "full" representation and I signed it without fully reading it, (my mistake). Instead of correcting the issue, they kept $3750 and all I got from that was an Answer Letter that was quoted at $1500, to file ON MY OWN and zero representation. I literally paid almost 4k for a piece of paper. Shara, the receptionist, talks to you like you are below her level of intelligence and sends the most ridiculous email correspondence I've ever seen from a "professional". They knew they were in the wrong but decided to steal my money anyways. There are no excuses for such deplorable behavior! I wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone.

I’m not 100% sure about the attorney here but his staff has incredibly poor communication and terrible judgment. I know that the attorney found Carla incorrect but then she continued confusing me with incoherent messages. She tried to answer my legal question I suppose with a finger in the air and was insistent, blocking my access. Though later she said an attorney named Fagen answered me (but about the wrong topic), so it seems to be a whole firm issue. Then, when I fired this firm and told them not to contact me anymore, Carla insanely continued to spam me with random demand emails to start a call to charge me more, now saying my matter wasn’t covered, though insisting she already covered it for me. The spam heightened with her addressing me in all red capital letters even, naively saying she’d report the coverage/lack of coverage - I have no real idea since I literally can’t understand her rambling strange emails - to my legal insurance provider. In sum, this firm insists they are right without even getting my question correct (it was about adult adoption while Carla refused to listen and thought it was a minor adoption). Then rather than help, the firm spams you to pay more. I understand why the other review of so few here simply says “crooks”. I highly recommend you stay FAR AWAY from this firm. There are way too many attorneys to waste precious time when you’re seeking advice, of all things!
