I Hired Mr Esparza during pandemic outbreak for a simple divorce which should have been easy but instead i watched Mr Esparza go through a hearing for temporary orders to which it was like watching a fish out of water. Mr Esparza is extremely nice and courteous and so is his secretary. Problems with me were… Desk extremely disorganized and i watched him fumble through the paperwork just to find something, does not know how to use simple programs like zoom for hearings and has depend on his secretary to utilize, meet him for initial consultation in his front driveway which was during the covid pandemic but still come on and finally watching him put up almost little to no argument during the hearing. After first temporary orders hearing and watching him perform it was time to bail. Over charged for services performed definitely. Used Evelyn Gordon who did an outstanding job and knows family law very well and even though my ex wife hired a very expensive attorney she made sure i did not get railroaded which i certainly would have been had i stayed with Mr Esparza. He told me once that he handled primarily immigration cases but did practice family law but i think now he might have practiced way less family law then i thought. i think if you are seeking council for a divorce he is not definitely not right attorney!

They helped my husband get out of a DWI charge in Houston about a year ago. Tad is a straight shooter who didn’t sugar coat anything when discussing the potential, but felt we would have a good shot at a positive outcome. The prosecutor was being difficult, so Tad took the case to trial and then after all that time the case was dismissed before trial. To this day I don’t what Tad told them, but they dismissed the case. Looking back, I think hiring Tad was one of the best decisions we made.
