Mekisha was recommended by a friend that had the same type of offense as myself. A DWI. My friend explained the research she did when hiring Mekisha and not only did Mekisha go above and beyond, her price point was unbelievable!!! When speaking with lawyers literally 5 times her price, they stated they would not be willing to do as much for a case as she does. I worked with her for months. She kept close eye on anything and everything related to my case, and admittedly, I made unlawful mistakes during the process that added more work on her part and extended the court process. But Mekisha did not add any additional fees for my mistakes. Mekisha went through an extensive process to get a dismissal for my case. She had to get my judge changed, which was work on her part and even had to make a deal with our new judge to get me into a program that, upon successful completion, rewarded me a dismissal. There was no denying my guilt in this case. There was no way that guilt was questionable on my part. I was undeniably guilty. After over a year of her hard efforts, my case was dismissed. DISMISSED!!! She truly exceeded my expectations going into this process. And the amount of money I am saving from not having to pay for an SR22, the annual fee on my license, not to mention the priceless effect the dismissal has on my background check, more than pays for her fee. I literally do not have 1 negative thing to say about my experience with this law firm. Truly above and beyond my expectations!!! I honestly don’t think there is a better choice at any price! Justin did an excellent job on defending my son that took a year and a half before he was able to get a not guilty verdict. His case was reset 8 times and Justin took time out of his busy schedule to defend my son and follow up with him constantly, gave good advice to him and me, to be present the day my son testified. I also found out that his wife recently gave birth during my sons trial, but he stayed faithful in representing my son. I hired Ms. Walker to represent me and I could not be more impressed. She is extremely service oriented and always had time to answer my questions and concerns - and I had a LOT of them! No matter how trivial my question, she always found time to get back to me in an expeditious manner. Being on defense in our legal system is an intimidating experience but Ms. Walker always had the right words of encouragement to set me at ease. She walked me through my process expertly. As my case was reset a number of times, I had the opportunity to watch her interact with officials in court and attorneys on the other side of the aisle on several occasions. She is a consummate professional that has a great working relationship with all I saw her come into contact with. My case had one serious hiccup that Ms. Walker was able to negotiate in my favor.
