We consulted with many lawyers when my family needed legal counsel though I had gotten recommendations for Dennis through the rare disease community. I chose him for several reasons. One, was that he makes sure he and his team learn every aspect of your case no matter the complexity. When needing protection for something as precious as family rights, he’s cheap! Most importantly, we chose him because he truly is making a legislative difference to defend YOUR rights. He recognized a problem with the system and fights for change!

I have used Dennis Slate two times now. I would not give my trust or confidence to anyone else. I was fostering 2 kids for 3 years and was supposed to adopt them. Everything changed at the last minute and I was faced losing the kids that I had loved and raised. They were going to be put into a very bad situation. Dennis and his team spent countless hours preparing for my case. Dennis knows CPS like the back of his hand. He was knowledgeable and prepared the day of the trial. He saved my family and I will forever be grateful!!!! I would never hesitate to use Dennis again. If you want to win you HAVE to go with Dennis.

I've had several issues that Mr. Slate has helped me with, and this latest is no different. It's comforting to work with him and his team because you know everything is going to be alright. Very responsive. The direction he gives through the process and knowledge of the law is great, and it's reassuring when you see the respect given when you walk the halls of the courthouse. Everything goes exactly the way it's supposed to. Very thorough.

Experience matters in cases that involve your precious family, especially children. If you have an issue with DFPS/CPS you need to call Slate and associates.

Dennis has represented me and other family members during the hardest years of our lives. He and his team worked tirelessly and knew every detail. Mr. Slate and the entire firm work as a team and are absolutely wonderful. Their board-certified attorneys, proactive paralegals, attentive legal assistants and friendly support staff are the best team to have around during any family legal process. Their entire staff assists throughout the process to make the entire chaotic process understandable. We knew we were in great hands. My husband and I felt absolutely comfortable with how our modification case was handled. Although they are busy office, I am sure our family's case was not the only one on their radar, but they provided us with great service as we dealt with a custody modification.

I have to thank Mr. Slate for having done a good job in my case. There is nothing worse than being falsely accused of anything that a person has not done. He helped me in my case. I will encourage teachers to take him as a lawyer in case any of them receive injustice from students, parents, schools or districts.

About $8,000 didn't get us very much. Not worth it in my opinion.
