I’m very grateful to have had this firm representing me in my personal injury case. I was involved in a rough car accident in December of 2020, luckily I only walked away with relatively minor injuries considering my car was damaged way beyond recognition from an impaired driver. They left the scene on foot but their car was still at the scene. I called that person’s insurance company and tried to get them to cover some medical expenses I incurred after the accident and they absolutely refused and would not pay it. So I got in touch with this firm and I was assigned Mr Burkhalter for my attorney. They were always in communication with me and every step of the way it was made very clear that my interests were what mattered. Mr Burkhalter made it clear that he wanted to get me a settlement that was fair to me and he completely delivered. I can’t say anything negative about my experience and I am very glad I had Mr Burkhalter and the Smith & Hassler firm as my legal representation. Thank you so much guys

James Only look for easy wins, don’t go to bat for clients. Was told I may have a claim based on the brief story but told me they wasn’t willing to invest in obtaining the evidence to prove such claim. In other words your case isn’t a high value case that will generate $$$ for what we will have to spend to prove your case.

Just spoke with someone over the phone told me everyone was gone for the day already to call back Monday morning it’s was 9:50AM. And I was just telling her about my situation and she just couldn’t give me a answer and she told me she felt like I was taking off on her because of the questions I was asking. I’ll look else where thanks.

I do not recommend this firm. The attorneys are very unprofessional. They do not inform you of what goes on with your case, you are expected to know the law. They are not thorough and will not update you. If you are in need of an attorney, go with someone who has more experience and does not treat you like a peer.

Chris and his team did an excellent job of reviewing my case and getting it dismissed. I was pulled over for DWI and was charged. Upon further review Chris argued that the officer did not have probable cause to pull me over and the judge agreed. I was out of the court room in a couple of hours and able to move on with my life. I cannot thank Chris and his team enough for saving me from the heartache and financial issues a DWI would have caused me and my family.
