Mr Dustan Neyland made nothing but excuses for his subpar representation and gave unethical legal advice that put myself in danger only so his job would be “easier.” When I finally confronted him regarding this situation, he became arrogant, rude, and very unprofessional. When I needed his guidance most, he wasn’t there and worse he “fired” me after the confrontation and took my money with NO results and no offer of a refund. His unethical ways and unprofessional behavior are quite worrisome to anyone in a position of needing guidance. A grievance is filed with the state board. I have several messages supporting my statements or I would never claim them. Please spare yourself agony and find a more trustworthy person and lawyer.

Dustan Neyland just got my case dismissed after working really efficiently on my case. He really put the time and effort into making sure that all the justice was served. I really appreciated him and his staff always being super prompt to respond. Finding an attorney that has almost immediate response time is sometimes trying - but he was always prompt! was recommended by my realtor/attorney to consult with Annette Henry regarding my highly, and newly, contested family court case. At the time I had retained a lawyer, but because it was basically a reactionary move, I hadn't done any research on lawyers- and I was so clueless on where to start. I feel so fortunate that Annette was recommended to me. My case is complicated (as they all are, I’m sure!), but Annette has been a reliable, trustworthy and sound guide through the legal process of what I consider equivalent to my worst nightmare. She has always offered solid advice, she has never let ego get in the way of my best interests as her client, and she’s been a integral soundboard anytime I needed legal advice, or just someone to listen to my frustrations. She knows the Texas family law code inside and out, and doesn’t sugarcoat what isn’t attainable/reasonable, even though I usually don't want to hear it. As she has explained to me many times, it’s her job to be the buffer between my emotional, knee-jerk responses and the realities of the laws and what to expect in the courtroom. She’s always advised and litigated in ways that were best for me, her client, and not to needlessly drag things out or offer false hopes, like so many other attorneys so. I’d highly recommend an initial consultation with Annette Henry if you ever find yourself in the very unfortunate halls of the family courts. She’ll shoot you straight from the very start, and help manage your expectations when you’re unable to do so due to elevated emotions. She’s an extremely knowledgeable, practical, and compassionate attorney.
