I was represented by this law firm and was confident in my representation but as cases start to get reset I started to feel like my child’s needs were becoming less of a priority. We went for child support enforcement, but the donor wanted to establish paternity. Instead of my attorney prioritizing our case (my needs) she compromised with his attorney which resulted in a reset. During the next meeting I was presented with just enforcing child support. My attorney assumed I was on Medicaid or CHIP, which bothered me some. Once I explained I paid out of pocket for my child’s insurance my attorney went back and negotiated additional payments, but once I received the final case doc, I noticed the cost of vision is not included. Since the cost is small and I felt like my attorney was tired of working on my case, I let it go. I would’ve liked for my attorney to stand firm on legalities and what’s best for her client, study my case more not only so she will know her client but to assure my child get what he deserves regardless of the circumstances, and have just as much patience with me as she had with the the other parties attorney because she’s paid to represent me. Other than that my experience was fine.

This lack of transparency and urgency has been concerning.
