I am a current member of Legal Ease, and I strongly advise you to steer clear. It's a waste of money and a total rip-off. Since the beginning of this year, I've been utilizing their services through an employee benefit program. Initially, they assigned me a lawyer who was snotty and unhelpful and never bothered to communicate with me regarding two important issues. This dragged on for four months without any resolution. Eventually, I had to file a small claims case myself. After numerous phone calls, they finally removed the unhelpful lawyer, but they still haven't assigned me a new one. I'm incredibly frustrated and angry about this whole experience. I just want to warn others so they don't end up in the same situation as me.

She directed me where I can access my benefits, helped me officially find my member number, helped me create a new case, and followed up on existing cases. I work for Dignity Health Hospitals and LegalEase is a legal plan that we can pay $6.00 per check to so that we are covered in a lot of situations. I have been a client with LegalEase since January 1st 2024. When I first opened a case with them it was a landlord/tenant issue and it had time frames set in the law that I have to either get something done or find someone else to help me. Anyway this company after probably 15 plus emails and all the trying to get ahold of a manager and get an attorney to look into my case I was finally able to get ahold of a manager, who at first was very helpful. So after about 2 months total now and being told via email that my case was going to be accepted by LegalEase at the very last minute came back and said no it's not covered. That in turn threw my time frames out and my case was done!!!!! I tried to get a hold of the manager again and she would not speak to me anymore. Well about a month ago now, an entirely separate issue came up (again this is in the contract as something that LegalEase is supposed to cover) I started getting the run around again and. And once again I had been ignored in ALL of my emails when I ask to speak to a manager. I would like a refund of the money I have paid to date and I want to make sure that they get a bad review so people like me don't have to deal with the same issues.

Tamara was flawless in detailing every step of registration, took it off my plate, comforted me in my stressful question and area or life and got everything submitted and set up so I could return to work and have less to do to utilize this amazing benefit. I'm so grateful for her and her professionalism... Not to mention the empathetic ear and condolences for the situation. Above and beyond client support.

The person assisting me was extremely knowledgeable on the two legal inquiries that I was asking for assistance on. Process was very straight straightforward And reassuring. I received the information she promised via email during the time that she was discussing the matters with me. Would definitely recommend their assistance moving forward.

Terrible service. I had a civil fine for allegedly crossing a double white line. The administrative officer ruled against me, so I appealed. I sought help from legalease. After four days, I was assigned an attorney. Called the attorney and it was for a consult only - they wouldn't represent me. I wrote back to legalease and explained that the attorney they assigned wouldn't represent me. After a few more days of going back and forth with them, Aaliyah, customer service representative, reached out by email to let me know was diligently looking for an attorney to represent me. A few days later, and with five days on the appeal clock, she calls me to tell me legalease doesn't do appeals. No offer to try and set it right, just "we should have told you that initially." This wasn't the first time I experienced this with legalease, either. When I was trying to find an attorney through them to review closing documents, they did the same thing - told me they are looking for representation, and then when the clock had almost run out, said they were still looking. I ended up finding representation myself.
