I never had to deal with such an unprofessional group of people. They never return your phone calls, you they give you the run around and your case will never moves. It’s been months and still no results. I told them exactly what needed to be done and still nothing. Never ever again.

What got me was the “skinny people don’t cook” commercial. What??? So since someone is slim the can’t or don’t cook?? Idk that’s was just and unprofessional and weird to start off a commercial. On top of the reviews “I just got hit” is not it!!!

As a former employee, don’t choose this law firm. I didn’t want to post this, but I’d feel bad if i didn’t warn people and tell the truth about this firm. Godsey Martin has more cases than they can manage; first sign of greed. Once they get you to sign up, you’re only treated as a number unless it’s a major accident that will bring them big money or unless someone knows you, typical. The attorneys and supervisors will tell you to, in simple terms, LIE to clients or withhold information in order to buy them more time to do something that should’ve been done months ago, which only makes the clients more upset. I’ve also seen case managers purposely ignore calls when they’re available or put their phone on do not disturb; The record clerks are in charge of requesting bills and records but it takes them almost a year to get everything and it’s like this for about 75% of cases. They’ll make the request and won’t follow up until after the request is expired, causing them to resend requests time and time again. I’d say only 2 record clerks in the Houston office are efficient. Most case managers are very unresponsive as well, they either ignore calls or put their phones on do not disturb; I’ve seen this on multiple occasions. There are only 3 case managers, if that, in the Houston office that have superior communication skills. This firm claims to care about their clients but how can that be when they’re so quick to ignore you guys and only worry about the major cases? I’d definitely recommend a smaller/average sized law firm to save yourself a headache. The reviews that you see about poor communication, taking too long, waste of ti- actually, pretty much all negative reviews, are TRUE. Notice how almost all of the positive reviews are only for a specific person. We’re trained to ask for reviews and they make it a competition each month to see who can get the most and/or best one. They do this to boost their ratings because they know most reviews will be poor otherwise. My two stars is for them keeping at least a handful of quality employees. I’ll admit they’re trying to pick up the pieces and “re-brand” into a more “communicative and empathetic firm”, but it’s going to take longer than they think.

Spoke with Yovanna Torres, she made the whole process very simple. She was also very through and knowledgeable, caring and considerate.

1 star is generous. They said they could help me. Left me waiting and wasted my time just to tell me they cant help me.
