My friend, Stephanie D wanted to post this, “ Attorney Yong saved the license I worked so hard for with a clean record on nurses after over a year battle with Texas board of nursing. I had gotten the news that my Texas license had turned into a single state license while I was living in Arizona after I had renewed stating where I lived. For a year I was under the impression my license had renewed as a multi state. I had been working in another state without " a license" for an entire year which my job... never made me aware about. The hospital never double checked on renewals and of course threw me to the wolves to cover themselves. My then manager who I felt I was already disliked by, even though I was one of their best nurses, reported this to the board on top of reprimanding me for the mistake gone unnoticed. All this while other nurses making mistakes on an actual patients she was never reporting. How was I going to find a lawyer in another state? Was I going to have to travel? Especially when most aren't available for weeks and Texas had given me a 30 day timeline to respond by self or by representation or else they would decide my license fate. I remember the stress and the desperation I felt thinking everything I worked so hard for was going to be gone. In their served papers Texas had stated that I had lied to patients and families. I of course had never meant for that to happen. I remember thinking in a parking lot crying about what I was going to do. Somehow as if God had sent this to me, I found attorney Yong's site. There was no waiting, no secretary that answered and then stated we can get you an appointment in such date. There is an emergency number on his main website. He FaceTimed me back within a couple of minutes while he was out on Sunday at church. We went over my case more in detail on Facetime a couple of hours later at his office and I left it it in his hands. Yong is not only there for you legally, but emotionally as well. Please keep in mind the boards are NOT there for nurses but for the public. You need someone who will fight for your license and I cannot be more thankful for such a knowledgable nursing attorney. He has been doing this for years and knows the system, knows who to speak to to save your license. I am so grateful this was solved without having to travel or ever present myself in a court room. I have peace of mind now. He was always quickly responsive and the sole communicator during this case. Thank you so much Attorney Yong and for continuing to defend the nurses that feel like they don't have a voice against the bureaucracy of nursing boards.

My first nursing travel assignment, I noticed the nurses were abusing me and my coworkers by giving us unfair assignments and making sure we have 3 ICU patients while their staff had only 1 ICU patient. My experience with Yong has been fantastic. While assisting me with a nurse license issue he agreed to take on an absurd retaliation criminal charge that another attorney had struggled to resolve. He took this on despite it being an area that he rarely engages in as his preferred practice area is medical/nurse licensing. Yong was successful in getting the criminal charge dismissed. He and his assistant are incredibly hard working and relentless in advocating for their client. He quickly responds to calls and emails. He is honest and straight forward, not shy about telling you what you need to hear.

Yong An took on my case without hesitation. When I called I was able to do a consultation right away. He was very upfront and honest about the difficulty of my case, but was very willing to take on the task. The allegations against me were awful, and he was the first attorney that I spoke to that I felt sincerely was on my side and believed what I was saying when I told him the allegations were false. He was always available to talk to me about my case anytime I called or texted. The couple of times he didn’t answer right away he still returned my calls within ten minutes. Sheila, the nurse that works with him, was also fantastic to work with. They know exactly how to handle each task presented to them. It is the worst feeling when your livelihood is under attack, but he made the process so much easier for me. I am very happy to say that my case was completely dismissed.
