I found Mr. Yong a year ago when I first got under investigation with the Texas BON and I’m so grateful I did. I knew I needed help legally to save my nursing license and I didn’t know what to do. I was so scared, but found Mr. Yong online. The same day I reached out to him, he called me immediately and has been there for me every step of the way since. Mr. Yong is truly a special person and cares about helping you to the best of his ability. I am so fortunate I obtained the services of Atty Yong. I was on the verge of depression when I learned my senseless actions would affect my professional license renewal. 1. I was under false allegations and it went all the way to meditation… THE CASE WAS DISMISSED !!!!! Yong is very experienced dealing with the Texas Board of Nursing. 2. Where do I start? When writing a review it’s important to be honest and clear about your experience. My experience with Yong began exactly 3 years ago when I received a letter from the BON with allegations against me which left me floored. I cried and was in shocked. But the Lord sent me a life raft and his name is Yong. I so pride myself about nursing. Worked hard to become one. When you received allegations against something that you have worked hard to achieve and love doing…it’s a hard pill to swallow. I remember my first conversation with Yong 3 years ago. He was extremely compassionate, asked all of my information, next steps and that I would not be in this alone…he would support me every step of the way. He did! He was always available, like literally 365, 24/7. Yong consistently keep me in the loop of things making sure that I understood the process from start to finish. This has been the case for the last long 3 years of my life and career. During the course of this time, Yong has remained as the same person I was crying too 3 years ago. He never waiver in his commitment to getting the best outcome for me. He still is that compassionate and kind attorney that The Lord blessed me with. Yong fought for 3 years for me. My case was probably the most difficult case he has ever come across. But he took my case on and I'm am proud to say I am a nurse once again. It's been almost ten years of fighting and struggling that I went through and it all started in 2013, when I found out I passed the NCLEX in Oregon. I was so overwhelmed with joy but that was short lived. Not even a week later I received a phone call from the Oregon BON stating that my license is being held until they completed an investigation. Well that investigation turned into me being placed in a monitoring program for 4 years. I made a mistake and I had to deal with the consequences. I spent 4 long, stressful years dealing with people who weren't there to help me but who were there to tear me down, but I fought. I was constantly pulled off my job because of false positive drug tests. They would send me to one of their own board certified psychiatrist who would do a assessment on me and would always conclude that i was not a risk and i was cleared to return to work. This went on several times for several years and I had several violations in my record. I had 8 months left in the program when I found out my family, my support system, were relocating to Texas. I spoke to all the correct people and was told I could transfer down to Texas. I moved down in December of 2017 and immediately applied for a license in TX. A couple months later I received mail from the board stating I could not transfer and they would not license me. I contacted my monitor and she said I would have to move back to Oregon and finish out my time. She then slapped me with 4 more violations on my record. I realized there was no way I could move back to Oregon to complete my 4 years. Mind you during this time the board was trying to take my license from me for good. The only option I had was to sign my license over to OSBON and wait 3 years to try to get it back. So that is what i did. It was either that or have them take my license for good. Once 3 years had passed, I knew i couldn't fight this battle on my own, and this is when I found Yong. I explained my situation and told him the battle I went through with OR and submitted 4 years of records to him. The records I had proved a different story then what I had down in my record of violations. He showed the TBON the real person I was and showed them what kind of nurse I am and will continue to be, and for that, I will always be grateful for him. My case was not easy and was a fight with 2 different states, but he did it. I just want to say once again, thank you Yong. You believed in me when no one else would and now I have my life back.
