To say I am thankful for Erin is an understatement. While searching for a divorce attorney, I kept running into larger firms and the issue of feeling like, “just a number.” I was getting to the point where I was dead set on handling my divorce on my own, but Erin was recommended to me by an employee at the courthouse and I took a leap of faith and gave her a call. I just want to start by saying that I was super fortunate to have a pretty easy divorce. My ex husband and I had planned on not retaining an attorney due to our mutual agreement in splitting everything evenly, but he decided to retain an attorney for his interest. I went with Erin for my interest! She was absolutely amazing and made sure that I understood his attorney’s lingo and that I was not bullied into signing anything I didn’t want to sign. I would recommend Erin for any type of divorce you are going through. Divorce is so hard in the first place, make sure you have someone on your side that is willing to go the distance for you. Erin is the person I would choose to be on my team every single time! She is a Godsend and definitely worth it.

Erin was truly dedicated to represent myself in a custody case to assist in providing the best legal advice and representation a lawyer could provide. With her years of engagement throughout a rollercoaster of events she stood strong in her legal advice. This allowed me to make the best decision to not jeopardize what's most important, a loving, caring, present and involved relationship with our child. This has allowed our child to remain as God intended, that "all children are made good", the rest is up to us as parents which takes both to be involved in their child's life.

Erin was my divorce attorney through a very lengthy divorce. Through it all, she was insightful, knowledgeable and extremely professional. My divorce was a very complicated and drawn out one due to my ex trying to go after my VA and military Disability payments. My ex even tried using my medical injuries I sustained during my military from three combat tours against me! Erin was very understanding, patient, and flexible with me on every single aspect of this process. She went above and beyond her normal requirements so many times, I couldn't even count them. I would attribute her hard work, dedication, loyalty, and up most respect she showed not only me, but even my ex and her attorney, and all others involved to her prior military service. With the knowledge and discipline received from her military service and her genuine care for others, she was definitely the best choice for me. She knew about the military and the difference between a regular retirement and a Medical Compensation Retirement (Separation). This made it much easier for her to articulate these to the courts who do not always know nor understand the differences between the two. This really saved me on what my ex was limited to receiving and the amount in which she could claim. Erin was always professional yet still personable throughout the entire process. Even though my case is now done, she still checks in on me and my three children to make sure we are doing the best we can. I would definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone of my family, friends, and neighbors. I would not recommend her to your soon to be ex, if you want to win that is! She even helped me file my final paperwork and submit the proper documentation to the Child Support Division, as we all know that is an entirely different headache to deal with. I would be more than happy to speak to anyone regarding any of this to ensure you that I was the one who wrote it, went through it all, and came out on top! I'm so glad I decided to use her for my divorce. I searched for months for the best attorney and law firm. She was by far the best I found. She has become more like a member of our family than just my divorce attorney! And you know the old saying, you get what you pay for. I am just glad she was not as expensive as she could have charged for the experience and amount of work she did for me. Erin helped me with child visitation order and child support. She was very understanding as this was my first time having to deal with a lawyer concerning my child. She anwsered every question I had and even broke it down when I needed more clarification. Whenever I called/ emailed, she was sure to get back to me within a 24hr period. She got me everything I wanted in the order.

I met Erin on an elevator ride when I was going to visit a client in her office building. Little did I know, this chance encounter would be one of the most pivotal moments in my life. I had been divorced for about 8 years and did not have custody of my sons. I visited with Erin about my situation and something about her warm personality and reassuring smile set her apart from any other attorney I had ever met. When the time was right, I came into her office with a list of questions. The most important one was, "Have you ever taken a child from their mother?" I know that Texas courts tend to side with the mom, no matter the circumstances, and it would take a skilled lawyer to overcome this challenge. She assured me that she had helped many fathers win custody of their children and felt that I had a good chance with my case. Before court, we prepared for the event. When we got to court, the judge immediately tried to shut us down and send us to arbitration. Erin was able to interject a statement which caught the judge's attention and open the idea to hearing us out. That day, I was granted temporary orders to have custody of my sons. About a year later, we were able to finalize the temporary orders and I now have sole custody of the boys. Other lawyers would try to convince me to try for extended visitations, not full custody. Erin was able to overcome the norm and get my boys home to me. There are many fathers out there who don't know that this is possible. Although no lawyer can guarantee the outcome, with Erin the likelihood of winning your case is exponentially greater. Her wisdom, assertiveness, and determination is what makes her different.
