My experience with the attorney who represented me, Kyra Leal from Carlson Law Firm was abysmal. Even though, I did not require an attorney, I hired her due to saying she could bring the court hearing date sooner than the 90 days that the court sets, although she did not make it happen. False promise. On the 90th day, the court hearing was set by the state and Mrs. Leal wanted to extend the hearing for an additional 90 days and for me to plea guilty, in which at all costs I was not guilty nor felt guilty from the start. She proceeded to extend the date with the prosecutor without talking to me first. After the prosecutor did not respond, she then calls me requesting me again to plea guilty and in 90 days it can be dismissed. I told her I would be in court the next day as scheduled and will plea NOT guilty. Which I did the next day at the court hearing and the charge was dismissed.

They were patient, understanding, compassionate, and up front with the truth. My family didn't know anything about the terminology of the legal/judicial system, and they were an extremely great help with breaking things down so we can understand it. They searched out the facts and people. They were fully vested in the best interests of my son's case/life. We wouldn't think twice about them representing anyone we love again and again! I had the pleasure of working with Caitlyn Tellez and Gerry Avila (Killeen Office) with my auto accident where I had some medical issues. Gerry set up a time for all of us to meet at the firm, I explained what happened in the auto accident and showed pictures and explained my medical issues and concerns. They had no problem taking on my case and explained to me how the legal process worked in these types of cases. I have never been in an accident and much less needed a lawyer for anything. I was very please how fast I was able to get in to see some medical doctors and to start receiving some treatment. Caitlyn and Gerry told me up front my job was to make all my medical appointments and not to miss them and not to worry about anything else and their job was to fight for my medical treatment and compensation. And that is exactly what they did. Yes, there was several months that went by with no contact and that was to be expected because I was receiving medical care. Once the medical treatment was complete then they would go fight for compensation. Gerry would call when he needed to update me on my case and when I had a question I would call or email him, and he would get back with me in a timely manner. I let the process work just as it was explained to me in the beginning by Caitlyn and Gerry. I am very thankful I had those two working for me and on my side. If I ever need a lawyer again I will definitely call The Carlson Law Firm.

After an car accident we spoke with Mrs. Coe. She was very helpful and guided us as needed. After she left our case went to Gerry and Blake. We couldn't have been happier. Both are excellent Lawyers and did an outstanding job. I can only recommend to see them if you in need. Keep up the great work

My case resolution with Carlson has been nothing short of exemplary. Their care for my situation was evident, and even though my case was not a complex one, the level of communication, accurate information, and timely response to inquiry made me feel as though I was their only client. I was comfortable with the offices. It was warm and welcoming with pictures and bible verses decorating the walls. I was eventually assigned to Attorney Blake Mathys and his assistant Judy.
