They stepped in with council and helped me during the trying times of personal injury and still continue to be there.

I suffered a dog’s attack last year, looked for legal assistance and the Carlson Law Firm said I had a case . I requested assistance in Spanish and I clearly stated I could not take any phone calls due to my workplace policy of no cellphones use is allowed in the building, and written communications will be needed, the assistant, Michelle Gunera agreed to do so, but problems started soon . They didn’t returned my calls, I didn’t get any letters, not even a text message, when I could get in contact , this lady, Ms. Gunera made feel like the one who should know the process was me, the one who should do her job, would be me too , and every question I had, she answered like if she was working for the other side,. She didn’t keep up with getting all parts connected, the attorney, the doctor and me. My doctor said I had a previous condition that was definitely worsen by the dog’s attack, and surgery will be needed. I informed about this, and about thee months later, I was informed by Gunera that a call was missed by me, one single call that was never attempted again, she said time had gone by, and now the Dog’s owner insurance could argue anything they want due to the time factor, and once again, blaming me for not doing her job,when she didn’t know how many phisycal therapy sessions were authorized, she was not aware either how many my doctor requested, and of course, she was not there to inform me what steps to follow. My case was dropped. I didn’t get the medical attention I was needing, The explanation I got from Gunera was that they could not sue anybody with bills barely reaching $1000 dlls, (I wonder now where all this bills for almost 5k came from?)and once again she sounded like working for the other side, saying something about why If I fell the dog didn’t attacked me? This confirmed my feeling of this lady misleading information in every way. No one but three dogs attacked me, I never said that I fell down, I had to run and kick the dogs, two actions my doctor believes worsened my condition. I requested an appointment in person with the case manager. I had understood my case was already dropped, and I didn’t feel like I wanted to continue working with a firm where personal might be rude, not professional, unable to follow up with information, or at least get the right information as well as to provide the right information to the customer and make the process flow in an easier way,.She never seemed to be organized, didn’t monitor calls or calendar, and if she didn’t provided me the right information, I highly doubt she did it with the attorney. I never got that appointment with the case manager. Instead I got a text message, incomplete, with no signature, stating that Ms Gunera had informed I wanted to speak about their discontinuing representation on my personal injury claim, which was incorrect, I just wanted to give my feedback about the attention provided to my case and the poor customer service I got from Gunera. They mentioned again the fall ,(once again, I didn’t fall), and all the arguments the adjuster/ defense attorney would bring up, but I never, ever heard anything about what they could do to win my case.

Can't help out of state cases
