Excellent communication they were very understanding and knowledgeable people when it comes to family law services. Terrific customer service they are quick and easy to start the process. Gave me options to solving my case and they also gave me future advice for years to come if needed any more service. Terrific online service, asked me questions to what exactly I needed done and never pressured me to do something that didn’t pertain to my case. From past attorney experience this one is by far the best one!

I just recently wrapped up my law suit with Carlson. It took longer than anticipated but my legal assistant Norma and my attorney Jody ensured me that it was better to wait out the time because they were working on pushing for the greatest outcome for my settlement. They kept me informed through the whole process and let me know whenever things were changed or submitted and in the end was more than what I expected. Overall great job!

Well I thought these people would actually help out with the accident regarding my wife, even with police reports and eyewitness testimony they say that they wouldn't take the case because it wasn't a guarantee win, after 2 and years, really, and on top of that you wouldn't hear from them for months, very disappointed, today was the first we heard from them since last year November, waste of time and effort...

This may come as a surprise, but this law firm were the FIRST entity ever that wasn't a personal friend who 1) Listened to my voice message when calling me, 2) Acknowledged it and followed it's specific directions and 3) Followed up through an alternative method to confirm the delivered message. I am beyond impressed with their handling of that and constant communication during our case.

My wife recently passed away, and my life was turned upside down overnight. We hadn't properly prepared, and I was left in a terrible situation in regards to my step daughter and not having custody of her, or any legal abilities like registering her for school, or taking her to the doctors etc. I knew I needed a lawyer, but was dreading the prospect as it's so difficult to determine who really means what they say, and will actually deliver after you've made your payment. Well, the Carlson Law firm did, and specifically my legal assistant Jami. From the first call she was as informative and clear as anyone I'd spoken to in my many calls around town. She answered every question I had (sometimes repeatedly) completely, and promptly... every.... single... time. She gave me my options, didn't pressure me for any of them over another, just laid them out, discussed the pro's and con's and let me make an informed decision. When certain things in our case changed, she was very quick to amend our agreement and put the changes into affect, and was able to get the whole thing resolved much quicker than I'd hoped for, and for less money than anticipated. I live out of state, over 2,000 miles away, but Texas had jurisdiction over my divorce. I expected the whole process to be frustrating and complicated since I am so far away. But it was the total opposite! Steve Walden and Jami Nance made the whole process super smooth, from communication to getting things done in a timely manner.
