Mr. Gavin was a God send! He was able to get what my son asked for. He helped my son get full custody of my grandson. It was a scary process for my son but Mr.Gavin made it a very easy. He made sure everyone’s questions were answered, he was very honest and upfront. He asked my son what he wanted and he got it for him. Thank you and God Bless you! I am highly impressed with Mr. Norris and grateful that I hired him to represent my children and me. While communication with his office can be challenging, as messages left with his assistant sometimes don't reach him, and it often takes multiple calls to get through, Mr. Norris himself is outstanding. Just finished the termination part of the case (judge ruled in our favor!) and now onto the adoption part! Mr. Norris is very kind, keeps me informed, and handles himself with grace and a cool head in the court, much appreciated since I was overwhelm with anxiety. The case kept getting pushed out because of delays but Mr. Norris kept up communications and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!!!

I have used Gavin twice, first time was an easy settlement because the other party didn't have an attorney. My son was taken from me by his dad, I was obligated to drive to Houston to get him back but in order to do that I had to get police involved and pay a fee to get him out of school but due to the lack of paperwork my attorney didnt provided at the time, the police weren't able to assist me. I had been at the police department that whole morning waiting on the attorney to provide legal paperwork to let me get my son out of school, I never got the paperwork. The attorneys advice after wasting all day at the police department was to just go up to the school provide what I had and see what they can do, within the 15 minutes of school almost over for the day? I drove 8hrs to Houston, had to get time off work last minute, find a sitter to care for my sick infant at the time, was a stressful moment that I never want to have to deal with. Till this day and court fees all paid after our court hearing back in September of last year 2023 he has yet to file court paperwork. I've contacted attorney General and they still show the other custodial parent to have custody of child since our last hearing back in 2018. I've tried calling and messaging but also lacks in communication!

Great in court but absolutely impossible to reach anyone in his office besides the girl who answers the phones and she's rude. Pretty sure she passes your messages along to the trash can. Been waiting for 7 months for final orders and NOTHING has been done. No return phone calls, no return emails. NOTHING. Now my case is set for dismissal because of failure to send in my final orders. Waste of money, and it wasn't a small amount of money either. Update: Gaven his self has gone above and beyond to make it easy for myself to reach him directly, even in evenings or on weekends. He's been able to help me with any all questions I’ve had recently.
