In searching for an attorney, our criteria was, "a bulldog that doesn't accept the mediocrity of the status quo." Kellye came recommended by others in our foster care circle and after interviewing her, my husband and I felt quite comfortable. She and Julie were tenacious in their perseverance and just kept pushing and pushing through an anomaly of dysfunction and bureaucracy of a ridiculous system. In the end, they both are considered a crucial part of "our village" and we're very appreciative of the dedication. She's done 3 adoptions for us (including an adult adoption) and who knows ... possibly more in the future. ;)

Kellye goes above and beyond to protect the most volunerable children in our community. We hired her to represent us in the intervention into our foster son's (adopted son) case. I truly believe that without her knowledge, expertise, and passion we would have lost him and he would be growing up in a volatile situation and would most likely return to the foster system later on in life. We had been foster parents for many, many years and absolutely love caring for children. When false allegations arose and CPS mishandled things, we called on Kellye and her team to protect our foster children as well as our entire family. She is very straightforward and honest, no bologna. She knows her stuff! We are forever grateful to her and her team as she proctected our family and, in the end, finalized our adoption!

If you are looking for an adoption attorney, look no further. From the day I called just to get info, I knew Kellye and Julie were "the ones". Julie was phenomenal at putting us at ease and knowing everything there was to know about a CPS adoption. She answered so many questions that we had been waiting on answers for and did exactly what she said she would do and worked swiftly on getting the job done. On adoption day, Kellye was like part of our family and made all of us feel special. We can't thank them enough for all they did for us.

We had a very difficult road to adopt our foster children. Our foster sibling group was in the media when they came to our home. Kellye performed a foster parent intervention, two adoptions, and a birth parent mediation for our family. Kellye listened to our concerns, studied our case, and fought for us when our foster (now adopted) daughter was scheduled to be returned to a dangerous, high-risk family situation. She explained everything to us and reassured us during the difficult parts of our case. She was always on time for court and responded to emails and phone calls in a timely fashion.
