High prices

I retained Blair Parker with Scott M. Brown & associates for a family law case. She was unable to adequately service my needs and failed to work on my behalf despite a very large retainer ($5,000), and high hourly rate ($350). I had to dismiss her and retain another lawyer who was able to do everything that she said she was not able/ or willing to do.

I was definitely not satisfied with the service that I received from this firm. There was a major lack of communication and excuses made for everything that wasn't completed in a timely manner or not done at all. I had an appointment set up on a Thursday to review my case and was never contacted. After I reached out multiple times I finally got a response two weeks later. Simple requests were not addressed or followed up on and I'd never want anyone else to go through the same devestation, especially with precious children being involved. After $10,000 they had to be fired and a new counsel obtained. To date my divorce is still not final due to inefficient and ineffective counsel.

The associates at Scott M. Brown and Associates office were prompt and attentive. They worked with my budget and allowed me to make payments toward my retainer. As a single mom on limited income, this came in handy! I highly recommend their services. If you need an attorney, the lawyers at their firm are unbeatable!!
