I have had Daniel Chavez handle two issues for me, a car wreck where the person at fault did not want to pay, and a speeding ticket. Both issues were handled expertly and with positive outcomes for me. In both cases, I could tell Daniel went the extra mile and made additional efforts beyond what is normally expected of an attorney. I would highly recommend Daniel Chavez for any legal needs, and I will certainly be calling on him again the next time I need an attorney.

Daniel Chavez recently assisted us with a landlord/security deposit refund issue. After explaining my issue, Daniel had a plan of action ready to execute based on our initial discussion. He and his team were courteous, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Within a short period of time, our case was successfully settled.

Attorneys are hired to represent people. A call/email would help to de-escalate any disagreement between the client and other parties. I was not represented by the attorney, the primary client was my ex-husband. As attorneys, they had a responsibility to talk and represent him. Husband referred me to the attorney for updates, the firm stated I was not a client. Perhaps a payment and/or fees might not cover the attorney handling a calls for clients. I wonder if calls from other attorneys are declined as well as a strategy to prolong processes. Attorney fees ($2,800) were originally paid with marital assets, and both spouses provided all information to expedite the process. This is a review about the lack of communication and poor service or diligence. The customer (ex-husband) needed his attorney to update the other party, as agreed in meeting in office. This is/was the best interest of your client. We will be fair and update this review. *Update: As per conversation following this review with Attorney Perez, he filed paperwork electronically a few weeks ago, but the office did not update respondent as agreed previously with petitioner and respondent in office. He apologized for the delays. I thanked him for completing the process he had committed to—while communicating effectively. Also a secretary called from the office today to confirm filing with the State. Daniel has been very helpful in helping me decide the best way to handle my current custody situation. He answered my questions and any follow up questions I had, and provided advice/guidance on what to do until I'm ready to file. When I am ready to move forward, he will be the only person I trust to assist me.

Don’t bother contacting them.... I was referred from a friend to Daniel Chavez to help with a case but when u make an appointment to have phone interview he doesn’t call and when you call and leave a message for a call back he doesn’t respond great business practice

Abysmal experience. I was referred to this law firm and spoke to Daniel Chavez. Subsequently after our first phone call, I made three follow ups with this individual’s secretary and never received a call back or any follow up. If you are having to make phone calls to an attorney, you most likely have a sensitive and/or stressful situation going on and you expect, at minimum, a level of professionalism in return. The only good thing about this experience is that early on Mr. Chavez demonstrates what hiring him would look like for your case: an absent lawyer.

Would not recommend. I had a consultation with Catherine and never heard back from her or anyone at that firm. She assured me that she would begin working on my situation and have letters drafted. After 8 days of waiting, I reached out and spoke to Karla Bautista. She identified herself as the paralegal and had me explain the entire situation to her again. She assured me that someone would reach out and provide me with more information. After 3 more follow-up by emails and 2 more phone calls, I decided this was not the firm to help me resolve my issue.
