I was recently accused of Assault on an Elderly Person. After doing some research online I found Mr. Wilder and really liked his resume and reviews. I am very happy that I went with the Wilder Law Firm, as Mr. Wilder and his associates Megan and Morgan handled every part of my case. They were able to get a very positive outcome that has impacted my life in a very positive way. In my eyes, the case was dropped. Always keep a great attorney in your back pocket!

I made a dumb decision and got arrested for first time DWI. My BAC was .24, 3x the legal limit. I thought not having any criminal record would save me, but in Collin County that didn't make a bit of difference. Initially I hired a well-known DWI attorney out of Dallas, and wasted six months. The offer I got from the prosecutor after the first attorney's efforts was basically the same as I would have gotten from a public defender - Class A misdemeanor and no chance to get it deferred, meaning it would be on my record forever. First attorney told me it was literally impossible to get a class B deferred with my BAC at that level. After asking around, people told me that Doug Wilder was the guy who got things done in Collin county. I hired the Wilder Firm and basically started the process all over again. Doug has a strategic approach, and asks a lot of his clients in order to position them for success. I did everything Doug asked me to do, and the end result was that the prosecutor agreed to a Class B deferred with probation. This was the difference between having this mistake follow me around for the rest of my life, or having the opportunity to pay my debt and move on with a clean slate. I am forever grateful to Doug and his firm, because they never stopped fighting for me. If you find yourself in a similar position, I highly suggest you call these folks and follow the process - it works.

Before I contracted the Wilder Law Firm to represent me in court, I was going against 3 charges, including violation of probation and a felony controlled substance. I had done some searching online for top rated attorneys and found Doug Wilder. Doug guided me through every single process. He advised me to join AA meetings in order to learn from people who have made similar mistakes, as well as to learn about the benefits of sobriety. This, in result, helped reduce my charges in court. Doug was able to reduce my felony charge in court, and therefore I was given a milder sentence. After half of my probation was served, the firm was able to file for early release and get me off probation a year earlier. Starting with the countless hours of AA meetings that I attended, working alongside the Wilder firm, I learned about nurturing my future and learning from my mistakes. 3 years after hiring Doug as my attorney, I feel at a much better place in life with wisdom that I was able to acquire through this long journey, but most importantly, I've finally got my freedom back, and I can't thank anyone other than this amazing firm.

I was facing class A misdemeanor charges for assaulting a family member. I suffer from CPTSD, and during a severe fashback to previous trauma I unintentionally hurt my spouse.
