Best Law firm in DFW. Lot of lawyers will pitch & promise you the world at consultation, then disappear after you sign. That is not the case with Doug. If you want to trust that your attorney has your best interest & will work hard for you, go with Doug. You will be not disappointed.

I was arrested for a DWI 2nd. I hired Doug and the Wilder Law firm due to his high ratings for DWI defense. I found him working as a prosecutor prior to working in defense gave him an understanding and edge I felt other lawyers wouldn’t have. The Wilder Law firm directed me to complete classes that would be required before the case even went to court. Best of all, he suggested starting AA, guiding me to now 8 months of sobriety. Because of their proactive approach, I was able to get my charge reduced and ended up with 2 years of deferred probation. This gave me a chance to hold onto my career in pharmacy and continue my sobriety-- assets I took advantage of or refused to embrace in the past. My family is closer, and my future seems less bleak thanks to how my case was handled and resolved.

I was charged with a DWI and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon in Dallas County. I was researching defense lawyers online and read very positive reviews from the Wilder Law Firm. The initial consultation was very informative, and I received some good information on how to fight my case. The firm was able to handle both of my cases and the ALR hearing. Because of the pandemic, it was drawn out to 2 years, but the team kept me informed of everything I needed to know along the way. I never had to chase anyone for answers. Doug and his team were able to get the UCW charge dropped and drop the .15 enhancement. I was facing 2 class A misdemeanors and they were able to get it down to 1 class B misdemeanor that ended up getting deferred. They were also able to keep my driver license from getting suspended. This outcome turned out to be much better than I would have ever expected! I felt very comfortable with my decision to hire Doug and the Wilder Law Firm team from the initial meeting all the way through the resolution of my case!

I knew with Doug Wilder that he was the attorney I wanted for my son when my son called asking for my help or advice. I had used Doug previously myself when I was younger and knew he wouldn’t stop fighting for the best possible outcome imaginable for my son’s case. Initially, my son was facing 2 charges of felony theft of firearms. This was going to take some time and work as the DA and Plaintiff weren’t wanting to budge. Doug worked fiercely and tirelessly on this case for nearly 2 yrs. The end result was, one charge was dismissed totally (as we thought it should be), the other was reduced from a felony to a Class B Misdemeanor. He received 1 year deferred adjudication probation, 80 hrs Community Service work and court costs. It could’ve been so much worse without Doug on this case!!! Initially, my son just wanted to get a court appointed attorney. I told him you get what you pay for and with Doug Wilder on your case/ team you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck! Furthermore, Doug is a highly ethical attorney and that’s very rare in some attorneys these days as he wants the best for his clients he’s not just thinking about his fee! For me, I got peace of mind during this whole ordeal because I knew Doug would do whatever it took to help my son. For my son, he still has a future to look forward too thanks to Doug’s hard work and commitment. I was facing my 2nd DUI charge and could have been convicted with jail time. Doug, Amy and his team had really high ratings on google. A friend of mine also heard the same thing. I went in for my consultation and once I met with Doug, I felt comfortable, and he is also very knowledgeable. I was confident I made the right choice and also met with a couple of other attorneys prior. Amy was also very personable and comforting. Doug helped me stay sane, kept me out of jail, reduced my charges and I now have a chance to have this removed from my record. That is huge and a more than positive outcome. Also, thanks to Doug for having me do all the 2nd offender requirements in advance to help with my case! I think that is a huge plus as well. Doug and the team were able to reduce the Class A misdemeanor to a Class B misdemeanor. I was not convicted and instead, received deferred adjudication and no jail time! With it being my 2nd offense, jail time is normally mandatory! I am so thankful and relieved Doug was able to keep me out of jail and reduce the charges. I was worried about my job, my well-being and my future. I will be able to continue my life as before but will be smarter and extremely careful with my choices. Doug and Amy are both very knowledgeable and helpful! I couldn’t have asked for a better team. They both put my mind at ease! Amy kept me in the loop with everything and made me feel better about the situation! I was very stressed, and I always felt better after our phone calls. I feel very lucky and thankful! They will fight for you!

I was charged with a DWI. While I was going to accept the plea offer, Doug advised me to take my case to trial as I had a great case to fight. Doug was able to get the DWI charge reduced to an obstruction of passageway the day before trial. I felt like Doug was honest and realistic from the start. His skills an an attorney are top notch and I trusted him with my case. As a 24 year old, it's extremely relieving to know that the rest of my life won't be impacted by a mistake I made when I was 22 years old. I absolutely love my lawyer Doug. His paralegal Amy is awesome as well. They make sure you stay on top of your case because they do as well.
