I want to take this opportunity to apologize to Todd Shapiro and his law firm for the bad review I gave them. I was upset about the situation and I took it out on you and I apologize. You are a damn good attorney and you have helped me out before and a friend of mine. Hopefully I will never need you again but if I do will be the attorney that I call.

Howard Shapiro is an attorney you can’t trust. Communication was horrible, paralegal Lisa does not own up to her mistakes, and to top it off they literally didn’t have to do anything on my case after all. I obtained their services on a Friday. 3 days later I called to informed them( spoke to Lisa) I had gotten a lump sum from the attorney general for back pay.. I told her I am not sure I would need your services after all to collect the remaining child support. But that I have another child support case I may want to transfer my retainer if that’s possible. Lisa stated well “ I haven’t drawn any paper work or file anything as I wasn’t sure if I needed to file in Colin County or Dallas County.” I was like ok great can you check if maybe I could that? She said Howard would not be in but he was supposed to check in and would ask him than. Now this point I had only spoken to Howard once for 10mins. He just called to ask me if my case was still active in Dallas County or Collin County. Two more days passed and I received another lump some from the attorney general. Lisa nor Howard had not called me back so I went to the office to inform Lisa I wouldn’t need their services after all since I had received what I was owed. I asked since no paper was ever really drawn or filed could I get my retainer back? She said “well I’m not sure that is up to Howard.” At this point she was like oh ok. Days pass and still no word. I go again to the office and she said he is not in but would let me know. After about a week and half I get $4000 back and a made up invoice for $1000 for Howard services and Lisa. 🙄🤷🏽‍♀️ all I can say is KARMA will find you DO NOT USE THIS FIRM PS never met Howard in person at all!

This is the worst attorney I have ever spoken to he was beyond rude And sounded like an old money guzzling douche bag.

I've referred friends to him several times. Mr Shapiro won every single case for them. Outstanding in his profession.

The Shapiro Law Firm is Awesome. Mr. Shapiro never ran out of patience (for me) and worked for me above the call of duty. Twice when I was on a short string Mr. Shapiro got me results in less then 24 hours He is both a competent lawyer and he know his way around Collin County. His fee was all inclusive, he never came back and asked for more money. 5 Star review

The idea of beginning a search for a criminal defense attorney is a daunting one, and sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs! I’m glad that in the end I was able to find this law firm and conclude two incredibly hard years. I am forever grateful.

If you are in need of an amazing attorney, Peter Ganyard is the absolute best! I had a probation revocation, and was facing up to 6 years in prison. Peter took my case and worked tirelessly on my behalf. He always kept me updated on the progress in my case, and fought for me every step of the way. His knowledge of the law, combined with his tenacity and sincere desire to help me in one of my lowest points in my life was a Godsend. I explected Howard to be MY attorney, but all he kept telling me is that he didn't want to hear what i had to say about the mother of our grandson with whome we have had joint custody of since 2016 and we raised beginning at birth. Howard kept telling me to let her have full custody and we take the 1st. 3rd and 5th week. i explained to him how much our grandson did not want to be with her but he kept saying he did;nt want to hear what i had to say about anything. Also the judge we were going to see was an attorney from their office. Howard cancelled and changed a couple appointments and one was for us to talk to the judge with our grandson, but he had to go golfing... that was more important than this child. I finally had enough of his negativity towards us that i told him to tell her attorney she can have her money back because all she cares about is herself and money. that same day he called me back and sounded so suprised that she agreed. If you want an attorney to be on your side and listen to you and fight for you, it is not Howard Shapiro.. we are out $11,000. and go nowhere. When we go back, it won't be with this office. Golfing and the other party more important than taking our case and fighting for our grandson.

I can't say enough about Peter and the Shapiro Law Firm. Peter is professional, responsive and kind.They truly care about their clients and go above and beyond. I've delt with other lawyers that are full of themselves and not responsive, these guys are not that way at all.
