I had a wonderful experience using this attorney for help with my financial responsibilities. Not only did she understand what I was going thru she went out of her way to make sure I understood my rights when it came handling all of my creditors. If I ever need help again I would definitely call her office again they are kind and friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful I never felt uncomfortable. If any of my family and friends ever need this type of assistance I will highly recommend her to them as well.

I initially started off as a Chapter 13 client, but during the process, I suffered a stroke, disabling me from work. My case became complicated when I asked for a divorce from my husband and was unable to work due to my stroke, and Mrs. Cavada, guided me through the process of getting it all done without out any problems. She saved my home, despite a nasty divorce and managed to later change from Ch. 13 to Ch. 7 due to my disability. I recommend her to everybody I know with financial problems.

When I lost my job of 31 years, I was given a list of 5 bankruptcy attorneys to choose from. Her name was at the bottom of the list, but I had a divine revelation and chose her. I have never regretted it. She assisted my case with such fervor that I was astounded. My case was very daunting with so many complications and yet she never gave up or got discouraged. I will always appreciate eveything that her family, her staff. and she did for me in the most trying time of my life.

Like the first review, I felt the office was welcoming and found the staff personable. Our case wasn't complicated, but early on I noticed that some details were being missed and some of the questions I had asked were answered incorrectly - costing more time and money. It seemed that unless we spoke directly with Cavada and not her staff we were out of luck. Calls were unreturned, emails took a minimum of 2-3 days to be responded to - no matter how urgent. We almost missed a crucial court date because we were told we didn't need to attend - but then when I called (and held for 15 minutes) to double check as I read the notice, I was told I did need to be there in the morning and it was "lucky" that I caught it. My greatest frustration came from the handing off of our day-to-day to the staff - who were overworked (they said so) and didn't know the answers to questions. Often they promised followup, but there was none. The final straw was when we dropped off a lot of documents to the office in response to a motion to dismiss - and the office filed a response that they had the documents - but then shockingly - failed to file them, causing our case to be dismissed completely. I changed attorneys - this was the final straw - and I paid another retainer and fee to start over. It was just a stressful, horrific ending to the process.

From the moment you enter the front door you feel you are in the right place. The atmosphere is friendly and warm as opposed to the sterile offices of other professionals. The staff was very understanding and informative regarding the details of my case and the my legal options.
