Scott King was very informative in explaining the matter in detail, and his willingness to find a amicable mutual solution regarding the debt he was charged with resolving, on behalf of his law firm Tucker, Albin, and Associates.

The company I work for has used TAA for many years, and we have never been dissapointed! The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure that we get all the money that we can get from placements. In the past, we have placed an account for collections, and had the money in our hands in the same day. When an account is placed, I am always in the loop as to what is going on and how things are going. After reading some of the negative reviews, it is made to seem like they harrass people, however, I have never encountered that problem. They go out and do their job to collect from those that are unwilling to pay, they aren't in the business of making friends with debtors, they are in the business of getting companies their money. I would reccomend this company in a heartbeat!

We have been working with Tucker Albin for over 6 months now have had great success in collecting outstanding debt. They are reliable and always keep us informed with the collection process. Out of 30 accounts that were placed by us, they have successfully collected 20. I feel like a lot of people are do not understand what a collection agency does. They are in the business to collect debt at any means necessary, and not to make friends.

We were struggling to keep our business afloat and things were not looking good for us. Jim Thompson recognized our needs and structured a payment plan that allowed us to resolve the claim. Thanks Jim!

Tucker, Albin and Associates, Inc. is very professional and efficient. They have helped us resolve several non-paying accounts. Their service does not stop there. They are thorough to the point they have helped us identify potential systemic issues within our organization. They have helped to facilitate improved customer service by working with our customers when we have given them accounts that were created due to errors on our part. This helped us to keep customers we otherwise would have lost.
In short, Tucker, Albin and Associate, Inc. is not just a "Collection" agency, they are a business partner. Their concern is insuring their partners are professionally represented and that customer issues are legitimate and resolved when contacting them.
I highly recommend them to anyone needing a hand in reducing an aging AR.

Our company is in the electrical service industry. We do not have a collections department but find that most of our customers will pay timely. Unfortunately, for those that don't, we often experience that 1)They would have paid if we had the time to initiate collection efforts earlier. 2) It is apparent that they did not intend to pay anyway. 3) They will pay but it requires repeated attempts to get them to actually do it.
We do try to collect ourselves in the first 90 days. We do retain receivables for regular customers.
We utilize Tucker, Albin & Associates for individual invoices that after sending a statement and after a few missed promises of payment, are still open.
Melissa is easy to work with and does not require any paperwork other than the initial agreement, the invoice, customer contact info, and.....if a dispute is involved...some level of proof of work. The latter is rare. The rest are simply a matter of an email or emailed copies.
Tucker Albin has been successful in collecting the vast majority of the invoices I send over. I would say 80%. I would say they have collected 95% of those that I didn't already know were out of business, had a disconnected phone number, or had returned mail. And they have collected a few of the latter.
I definitely recommend them for their collection services. I do know that they are persistent, which is what works with customers who won't pay. They have been fair in charging the correct percentage for older receivables vs newer receivables, and I view their fee as cheaper than adding a collection person, or waiting so long for payment that we eventually write off 100%.

On January 2014, Tucker, Albin and Associates, Inc contacted our business to attain our past due accounts. John claimed that they could collect in 5 days, and once they collected, they would keep a percentage of the payment and send us the rest. On January 30, 2014 our business signed a contract (via online) with Tucker, Albin and Associates, Inc. providing them with one account to collect (Customer JS). John was persistent to get more accounts, I mentioned that we only had one more past due account and he asked for the information. I gave him the city and and asked why he needed more information if we did not want to collect from that customer yet (Customer RR). He then said he got the address and full name from the internet and that that customer has a history and it would be best if we submit him for collection as well. Once again I made it clear we did not want to collect from him.
A few days later he called again and instead of speaking with me, spoke with the owner, who does not take care of accounts receivable or payable, and confused him by asking about Cutomer RR. The owner thought he was referring to JS and asked him to continue collecting, to which John at Tucker now says that was a verbal contract that we gave them the account.
John called again and had strong dispute with the owner insisting that we gave him that account. He insisted that we send him the invoices right away. The owner explained he does not even have access to the customers information and he has expressed he did not want to submit him to collection, that there must have been a misunderstanding.
Now, less than a month later Tucker, Albin and Associates has not collected from customer JS, the account we did submit, they turned around only to harass us into collecting $450 from us, otherwise in their own words "Failure to comply will make this $450.00 problem result in a several thousand dollar problem."
I don't know if they are a legit business but it seems that they are running these scams on other businesses. There are over 100 bad reviews in several places on this company.
First they call to get accounts. Before collecting the ones they were given, they call to get more accounts. The names given to them all have a bad history and it is urgent we collect soon. Weeks later and having collected nothing, they return calls only to collect from the businesses who hired them in the first place for "breach of contract" and threaten to sue. On the phone they are rude, persisting and insulting. It seems that they have all the time in the world to collect, be it 1 year, 3 years, 10 years the account is theirs. If you collect even if it is a year later (due to their failure to collect, you must pay them a percentage or they will sue you.
To their point of view, they deny all accusations as if all these business are coming together to allege the same malpractice accusations against them.

Stay away from these guys!!! Just talked to the Texas attorney generals office and they have 16 active complaints against them in the last 2 years. They are very aggressive with their sales calls and refuse to give information on who they are, just keep pushing to give a rate.....I have continuely asked them to quit calling and they keep calling. I even called then back and talk to a guy I was told is the owner Logan Erass, He stated would just deleted my number from the call list...then guess what....I received another call with the same opening script from them "Hi this is Tom with a private investigation company and we are coming to pick you up. Are you ready?" less than 15 min from hanging up with Logan.
Check these guy out and google them...lots of bad info out there!!!

Minus 5 stars. Beware you will become there client. A repulsive company has to be the lowest of the low. Do not hire them! DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING!!!!!! You will regret ever speaking to them. Like I said you will become there client. We have to hire a lawyer to sue them now. If this means anything I would rather deal with Politicians, Lawyers Crooked Car Salesman and even Prison Inmates than these guys. Have you ever wished you would have hung up. The crazy thing is we hired them and we became the victims. DON'T BECOME A VICTIM (DO NOT HAVE ANY DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY)
