Mr. Brigman and his office staff are wonderful! They answered all my questions in a timely manner and walked me through all aspects of my case. I would highly recommend his services!

Worst lawyer in the history of law. He is, however, a great magician. I gave him a check for my case and he disappeared with it.

He is very lazy, not detail oriented, makes his assistant (secretary) do all of his work on your case, and after you pay him he disappears. Worst decision EVER was hiring him. I had a simple dui case, in which I had all the cards stacked in my favor...he still blew it. He never even filed for motion of discovery to see my arrest tape.

I had hired Fred Brigman III to handle a misdemeanor case for hitting a mailbox in a rural area around my city at nighttime with gates locked to the housing and left to return the next day. I also told him I had a case pending out of town. He had mentioned he goes to this other town often and said he can take care of both for $7500. I hadn't heard from the out of town case for over a year, so I requested mr Brigman to handle the misdemeanor first and if I get information on the out of town case, the he can represent me there also if he does a good job on the misdemeanor. Shortly after hiring him i find out I have been indicted on the out of town case. I also got a speeding ticket on my way to my first felony court that mr Brigman said he can have them have me on a probationary period and have the ticket dismissed if I didn't get anymore tickets. Recently his office partner died and I found out he has taken over his deceased partners cases also. Upon hearing this i asked for my files and paperwork that I had given to him to help in the case. I also asked for what work he had done to be fair. I was given little paperwork of what he has done, most of which was motions to appear in the out of town and in town case, which is not what I paid him to do. Besides that, he is a good procrastinator but as to what he was hired for, he did not respect my wishes. He had told me it is illegal for mr to get copies of motion and other paperwork relating to my case. He said I can look at them in his office but can't have copies. I don't believe this is true because I have the copies of his motions to appear in the courts. Recently, I have be released from his caseload and know of at least one other that was court appointed released before we could fire him. I do not recommend this attorney because I caught him in a contradicting statement with a witness present. I was told he goes to the town I had the case in and in her presence about a year later and fully payed off, he said he hadn't practiced in the out of town courtroom in 10 years and their system changed independent from kerrville, which is the court system that used to handle Kimble county cases. He does not communicate and does not let you see your files as he claims. A grievance has been filed against him recently.

Mr. Brigman was given my son's case by the Federal judge and he did nothing on his case. I gave him the files that would prove my son did not intend a loss to any of the clients he was accused of defrauding and he never even looked at the files or took them to the prison to look through them with my son. Those files had the amounts my son paid to mortgage companies and clients, but because Mr. Brigman didn't do the work the government paid him thousands of dollars to defend my son as a court appointed attorney, my son was sentenced to much longer time than he would have been if the court had the information that could have been proven from the files. My son and I have both requested Mr. Brigman to return the files many times and we have had no response from him.

Mr. Brigman is very knowledgeable of the law and your rights. He knows how to keep the lesser offense and succeed at getting the other higher offenses dropped or dismissed. I mistakenly went to another lawyer to have my record expunged and I regret not having Mr. Brigman represent me again. The secretary will talk you through your case, explain, and give any information you're needing. I was needing assistance filling out a question on an application that was regarding previous deferred adjudication or convictions and it's been four years since she's touched my case so it took her a minute, but she remembered details of the case I forgot and explained to me what all happened and what Mr. Brigman was able to do. I'm not just a case number. I'm an individual who made mistakes and they do not treat me any less. It's so appreciated.

Attorney Fred Brigman is a true professional. He goes over all the details and questions concerning your case. Mr. Brigman is a strong attorney with his incredible experience, which includes being a Federal Prosecutor. West Texas usually never ends up with a Federal Prosector to live in this area. I was blown away when I found out his impressive legal experiences. He was amazing how he handled my case.
