Fantastic representation and truly knowledgeable squad. I was charged with DWI and the judge assigned to my case wasn't interested in the resolution of my case, yet was quick to punish any perceived infraction. My case was stuck in legal hell for a year and a half, which was devastating. I even did my best Jean Ralphio impression and had 2 ankle monitors assigned at once. Nevertheless, patience and the best representation I could ask for came from Mr. John Gomez. John advised me to sit tight, while I had a warrant out for my arrest. You see, my judge had a big hard-on for excessive punishment. Some shenanigans ensued, but the bottom line is John found the perfect opportunity to strike the DA and got my case dismissed. Cannot stress enough how much anxiety was caused by the ordeal, but John went out of his way to ensure it was all worth it, with the best possible outcome I could ask for. Anyone that has ever been in trouble with the Law. Has heard once you get in the system they keep you in the system. Which is very true…….the council that you select can and will definitely determine the outcome! I was involved in a altercation in 2007 during a ugly divorce. I was involved in a fight with my soon to be ex wife’s new boyfriend. At my house on on my property. I was attacked , however no witnesses only her and him. So I was taking it to trial . I was looking at 2-20years. So in 2012 I took a deal , and received 10 yrs deferred. No Felony…I didn’t want to take a chance on not getting to see my 8 yr old daughter grow up and miss really knowing her. Only because the attorney I did not select did NOT help me. So moving forward 3 months left on Probation I received a MTR (motion to revoke) probation. Due to not paying the full amount of the $38,000.00 restitution . I asked friends and researched not good but great Representation…..Shawn C Brown Law firm. At the initial consultation I explained my situation and decided to select Shawn’s firm to represent me and my freedom and Record. My Probation officer said they where most likely going to charge me with a Felony and put me in PRISON or continue probation. . So 15 yrs later. I was still looking a 2-20 . As well as Shawn was there anytime I needed a question answered. The outcome was this 15 yr. Nightmare is over. Off Paper. No more Probation, no more Fines, no. More supervision etc. Case Closed…..The DA dropped the case due to my Council. Thank to Daphne Previti and Shawn C Brown including the rest of his team pretty much all of his team members where involved . I sure wish I had them in 2007 when this happen .
