Was rushed and cut off every time I tried to answer a question. Being interrupted is inexcusable. I am certain the paralegal never listen to what I was saying. Do not recommend.

I really have nothing bad to say about David Schafer. He was extremely helpful. I was able to stay in my apartment for 6 months from when they filed my eviction. Everything he told me ended up being what happened. I couldn’t have asked for a better attorney in this whole ordeal. I was treated very unfair at this property but he helped me and together we were able to figure out a timeframe I was comfortable with. He even worked with my payment plan so that I can pay him in payments. He was worth every penny of it. When your going through this there is nothing like peace of mind and Mr. Schafer was my peace of mind through all of this. He is a great attorney! Thank you 🙏 Mr. Schafer for everything you did. I’m very grateful for you and this firm. If I could add a 10 ⭐️’s I would add it!

The best and (to my knowledge) the only attorney out here FOR tenants. He’s patient, will do his best to handle the issue you have going on, and if he absolutely can not take on anymore cases- he will do all he can to make sure you’re pointed in the right direction. He aided me with a landlord from h*ll. Though there were issues with the landlord, he still fought for me and got me back something. Leeches are scum. Thank you, David.

I received a wrongly eviction notice yesterday and was very upset how they can evict me just in 2 days when I always paid my rent on time or even early. I was so worried that I had to move out in two days. I was calling so many lawyers and they wouldn't even talk to me and no one was picking up the phone. I have to leave a message and no one gets back with me either. I was so happy when I found Mr. David Schafer from one of the law firms and texted him my problem. Within minutes Mr. Schafer texted me back with the law in Texas Property Code 92.331. It states "Forbids giving a notice to vacate or filling an eviction within 6 months of a legitimate activity by tenant such as requesting repairs." Mr. Schafer didn't have to tell me this law, but when he sent me this code; it was such a relieve for me. Furthermore, he had answered so many questions I asked and helped me understand that my case was a retailiation from the landlord. They didn't fix all the problems for weeks sometimes and I didn't get a straight answer from them when it will be fixed every time I called. Therefore, I was so frustrated and told them I will turn them over to the BBB and that was a problem started. However, the next day the manager came over and we talked it out and everything was fine. I am so grateful for Mr. Schafer and all he had done for me. I would strongly recomend Mr. Schafer to anyone that has this kind of issue. The world needs more people like Mr. Schafer that cares and takes time to help other when they needed help! Up to date: Once again , I am having problem with my aparment Mira Vista. My lease was expired on 10/14/23, but I decided to moved out early on 10/7/23 even though I had paid up to 10/14/23. After we walked through with the manager, she told me the apartment was very clean and no damages at all. However, she has to charge me for the paint so I told her there was nothing wrong with the paint. Then she said we just had to charge us for wear and tear. I didn't want to fight with her so I asked her how much will it be? Then she went in her imaginary number saying that she doesn't know how much, but there are calculations formula that they use to figure out the charges. Another words, she will keep my deposit and even charge me more than the deposit. At this point, I am so sick of them trying to get the deposit money or even charge us more for no reason at all when the manager had told us the apartment was spotless and it was even better than we first moved in. Once again, I had to reach out to Mr. Schafer and he immidiately told me to send the a certified letter and make sure they have my current address and they must send the check within 30 days. Furthermore, send him the check immediately when we received the check from Mira Vista Apartment. According to the lease, they can only charge us for severe wear and tear damaged, but it wasn't the case. Moreover, we told them that they should not charge us for normal wear and tear and that was not allowed in Texas. Furthermore, we will get a lawyer involved to fight for our rights if we have to. Two weeks later, we received a check from Mira Vista and to my surprise they didn't charge us anything more or try to take our deposit. I think the certify letter that had suggested by Mr. Schafer had solved this issue with Mira Vista Apartment. They know that they cannot charge us more money, but they were trying to get more money from us. Once again, Mr. Schafer had helped us with this matter and he has always being there for us. I would strongly recomend Mr. Schafer to anyone that has problem or any unfair issue with your lanlord. Thank you so much for your kindness, Mr. Schafer.

Amber was very responsive to my emails and calls. She and handled my Probate needs quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Dealing with Probate was not the dread event I anticipated under her direction. I can highly recommend reaching out to her.
