David was fantastic. I was in a precarious situation at the time of my eviction case, then COVID-19 made it even worse. Landlord reneged on the verbal agreement the property manager had made with me to give me time until I had a definite path to getting caught up, so he worked my legal rights to give me the time I needed to resolve my debt. I didn't feel judgment or shame at all through the process, and that helped enormously with not making my circumstantial depression worse. I absolutely recommend The Schafer Firm if you're facing eviction or even just problems in a bad renting situation. I have a friend that is a property manager around town, and she referred me to him, citing that she loathed having to go up against him on cases. That's because he's great at what he does. I can attest to that.

David was very helpful right away. I gave David a call about a current situation I'm facing with my apartments and it being infested with roaches. He gave me insight on what to do. A lot of times attorneys don't do this upfront. I did exactly what David told me to do and the apartments regional manager reached out right away about my situation. I'm in the business of real estate myself and I can say David is very knowledgeable in his field. I highly recommend using his services.

I am visiting my mother in San Antonio, I am from Virginia, when she expressed her desire to get a new will. I was leaving in four days and called and left messages at many law firms trying to get an appointment. Ms. Ramsey was the only one who called me back and within a half an hour. She got my mom in the next day, Friday. Her Professionalism, attentiveness, and caring demeanor to our situation was impressive and her desire to help went OVER and BEYOND anything we could have hoped for. She prepared the documents and since my mom is disabled, she brought the documents to our house bringing a mobile notary and two witnesses the next day, a Saturday, for signature. She knew I was leaving on Monday to head home and gave up her weekend to help us out even making copies and bring them back over later. I have never met anybody so willing to help and go out of her way. I can’t believe people like her still exist! I highly, highly recommend her.

I recieved a paper in the mail from his office and almost immediately contacted him regarding my eviction case. I heard a lot of good things about his practice and was ultimately surprised at how OUR transaction went. He immediately asked about the monetary side of the case and wouldnt listen to me in regards to anything else. I was more than current on my rent and was dealing with an issue of Retaliation for exercising my tenant's rights, harrasment to the point of lying on legal documents and denying me services (Not fixing anything since I moved in). It was appalling how he cut me off and just wrote my case off as invalid. Maybe it was due to all of this happening during the holiday break or he had a bad day. No idea. I was eventually able to get approved by Legal aide and Fair housing. They saw my overwhelming evidence and have concluded that I did nothing wrong. Against my better judgement, I am reconsidering contacting his office to try and get an ACTUAL consultation. I hope to receive better attention to detail and a true unbiased opinion of a seasoned lawyer.

Mr. Schafer helps dead beat tenants not paying rent. He will one day stand in front the real judge ( god )and he will have to answer.

I just completed the process for the I-130 , I-765 and I-485. Pauline was of great help, always available and always eager to service with her suggestions and comments.
