Horrible Lawyer and he lives out of his office.. DO NOT HIRE HIM .. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CASE.. I STAND ON THAT WORD

I have been using Jackie for a family law case for a few years now and I would go back to him in a heart beat if I needed too. Jackie has been not only a great attorney, but also a great friend. He listens, gives honest feed back, and will fight to the end to make sure his clients have a good outcome. I talked with a few attorneys before coming to Jackie's office but none of them treated me like a VIP client the way Jackie did. I highly recommend Jackie VanZant if you're needing representation.

I was arrested for a DWI, and it was the absolute worst feeling ever…HORRIBLE!!! My best friend called a lawyer for me, and I had no idea who she was calling or what I needed to do. I literally felt lost. Jackie arrived at the jail, introduced himself, and got me out much quicker than I anticipated. I was exhausted, angry, ashamed, and scared all at the same time. Jackie was actually very comforting in explaining what I could expect over the short term as well as the long term. A lot of my fears went away right then…however, the real unknown is still waiting…the outcome! Jackie or a member of his staff was always very attentive while we played the dreaded “waiting game” for my case to progress. It seemed like forever! They never seemed to mind if I called with my usual questions, and that always made me feel relieved as well. My punishment range was going to be 1 year in jail and a fine of like $3000.00!!! Without going too much into detail, let’s just say I never saw the inside of that awful jail cell again, and my fine was pennies on the dollar compared to what it could have been. 😉 THANK YOU, JVZ!!!

As an educator, I’ve always taken pride in my profession as well as having no criminal history. That is why it came as a huge shock to me that I was given a citation for an incident that I was unaware of, and never arrested on! Regardless, it’s always scary to be in the crosshairs of the court. My supervisor recommended I call Jackie VanZant. I am certainly glad I did! Nervous and not even knowing what to expect, Jackie showed up to my court hearing, he walked in to speak with the Judge and the Prosecutor for a few minutes, and when he came back out, he told me about how my case is being dismissed! It seriously went just like that! Hands down good lawyer and also seems like a good guy! If you are reading this, then you must be looking for an attorney. Do yourself a favor and stop looking and reading, and just call!

I heard Jackie specializes in DWI defense, so I met with him and two other lawyers. All three seemed to know what they were talking about, but talking with Jackie was the same as talking to a friend. Very laid back, which helped my mindset with the stress. By the time we went to the first few court hearings, Jackie kept resetting my case and working deal after deal with the DA on my case. The DA finally made a pretty good offer, and although I thought it was a good deal, Jackie explained one more option to get an even better one…He wanted to have a hearing and let the Judge decide…this sounded risky at first, but Jackie explained the entire process and we went over the pros and cons…I ultimately agreed, and today we went to our hearing…Jackie and the DA gave their opening statements, I was called to the stand, Jackie and the DA were both asking me questions, and then Jackie gave a great closing statement! It really was like something you see in the movies!!! The Judge took a recess, and came back to tell me if I completed some probation and paid a small fine, then the DWI would NEVER go on my record! It would be a DISMISSAL! Wow!!!  Usually even with probation, a DWI in Texas still stays on your record! Can’t thank Jackie enough for everything his office did for me!

Jackie & his paralegal were amazing with our case. Did what he was hired to do! If we ever need representation again we know who we will call! Thank you Jackie!

This guy's is the absolute best there is. If you value your freedom and don't want things going south give this guys office a call. He won't just settle for a deal, he'll get you better results than you were thought possible.

I had gotten into an accident, and was later arrested for a Felony DWI. The Prosecutor was not willing to listen to the story and realize there really wasn't an accident, and my only offer was going to be prison time. I was so scared thinking that I was going to be going away for a number of years. I hired Jackie to represent me, and we went to multiple hearings over the course of several months. I was always so nervous sitting there and watching Jackie talk to the prosecutors. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I was always paying attention to Jackie's demeanor when he spoke to them, and it was easy to see he was passionate about my defense. The Prosecutor agreed to lessen my offer, but it was still too much to bear. Jackie came up with another strategy, and we took it to Court, and I ended up getting probation and no prison sentence whatsoever! He kept me informed the entire time, and even when I was confused, he would reassure me. We prepared for my final hearing, and he called witnesses, argued my case, and we got a better result than I was ever expecting! If you are ever accused of anything, HIRE JACKIE!!!
