Very bad advice. Spent $50k and literally got nothing. But they did send a box of cookies to the ex. That’s right, they sent a box of thank you cookies to the other side. I mean they couldn’t even take the time to make sure they were sending the cookies to the person that paid them 50k.

I highly recommend Ruby Bolton. She was retained during a very stressful elder care / elder rights situation. Met with her within a few hours of first call. She promised to act swiftly to cure an egregious situation concering my aunt's elder rights, and she did so. The difficulties were solved wihtin only a few hours, and we continue to consult her concerning elder rights and other issues. Ms. Bolton returns calls promptly. Her receptionist will advise when she is in court and when she will be able to return call or schedule a meeting. When she promises to do something, she follows through with courtesy and effectiveness. I am very happy to have Ms Bolton representing us in this matter.

Worst place ever. Don't do it. $10,000 just in paperwork n then tried to withdraw. $14,375 for nothing to get done. Judge asked them to get my husband to the court because he in jail. Judge won't sign off.

From start to finish I was kept informed about my divorce proceedings and they honestly made my experience a very quick and pleasant one! I felt very pressured, they had me applying for loans on the first visit and conveniently they have several places you can apply, my first appointment with Ruby she thought I was a totally different client, she wasn’t meant to see me on that visit, had me worried they couldn’t keep clients straight Charged me $3000 and I still have no idea what all the charges were. Never again!

I must start by saying that I gave a 1-star rating only because a negative score wasn't available. Beware of the positive search results and reviews for Bolton Law. This firm is entirely profit-driven with little regard for its clients. My attorney barely understood my case, and he, along with Ruby, failed to even calculate the child support from my ex. I was unnecessarily forced to work with an amicus, chosen by the opposing attorney due to their connection, despite it being unwarranted in my case. I opposed this, yet was misled into believing it was essential, and had to bear the cost of a biased amicus who ultimately harmed my case.Every email, regardless of length, cost me $25, with many required due to the attorney's lack of case familiarity. I felt nickel-and-dimed at every turn, draining my 401k without any concern from the firm. They charged for everything imaginable, even when my attorney rescheduled our court date for his medical appointment, increasing my costs further.During the 4.5-hour mediation, the amicus and mediator (Loudin) spent most of the time with my ex, disregarding my wishes and returning only with his demands. Despite my desire to go to court, I felt coerced into settling by my attorney, the amicus, and the mediator. After consulting two other attorneys, I was dismayed to learn there was no reason for me to have settled, as the judge wouldn't have likely changed the custody due to no substantial change in circumstances.Ultimately, I paid this firm over $35k, resulting in a loss of primary custody, child support, and substantial financial resources, leaving me with nothing in return. I strongly advise against using Bolton Law; they are more interested in your money than providing genuine legal support.

As an attorney who has worked with Ruby I can say she is well prepared for her cases and advocates for her clients. She knows the facts of her cases and is current on her the law. She would be a great attorney for anyone needing a family law attorney.

Money, money money. That’s all they were after. They fool you into thinking you’re part of one big family and then when they judge says you’re now divorced they can’t even take the time to walk you to your car. They screwed me out of a fortune, and got nothing more than we could’ve gotten in mediation. In fact we would’ve gotten more in mediation than we got in court. Ruth barely showed up in court and did not take the lead and all. The person who has left to take the lead is an excellent person, but he was not involved in the process the whole way through. I don’t know what her problem was , but she obviously had something else on her mind. they neglected to file papers which prevented me from getting things that I Was definitely due. I would not recommend this law firm.
