Chuck Cowan was extremely professional, personable and very "down to earth." He took the extra time to personally hear our entire story and then asked us a lot of questions just to make sure he fully understood all of our concerns and expectations before he got started. While he handling my case, he was very very thorough and concise in his explanations to me regarding the law and where we stood. He was truly an outstanding advocate for us all the way through the case. I would definitely recommend hiring him when you need STRONG legal representation in Personal Injury, Wrongful Death or Workers' Compensation matters.

It's been several years now, but still makes makes me mad today. Blatantly lied to me about "work" he was doing on my case ( Accidentally had a knife in my luggage at the airport🤦‍♂️) First and only time I had ever been in trouble with the law and paid him $3,500 upfront. I had been stressing out about the outcome for months. When I couldn't get in contact with him I started calling around for information on the case only to find out it had been dropped on its own 3-4 months ago. Finally was able to contact Mr. Cowan and asked him how the case was going, he said " I spoke with so-and-so yesterday, nothing yet, but it's looking good"..... I then called him out on his lie and asked for proof that he had done even the slightest bit of work on my case. He said I sounded irate on the phone and would call the cops if I attempted to visit his office🤦‍♂️😡. That scared me (coming from what was supposed to be (my lawyer)), even if I tried to complain to someone else about this he would probably win in the end, I figured it'd be for the best to just leave that lier (*lawyer*) alone. Never received any information about the case and even though it's been many years, it still makes me angry.

Mr. Cowan was very generous with his time throughout the entire case. I had never been charged with a criminal offense before and due to the charges against me, I was facing a potentially burdensome penalty including incarceration at the State Penitentiary. Mr. Cowan carefully reviewed all of the evidence that the State of Texas had against me and explained what was actually admissible against me and what was not. He kept me well advised of the progress of his discussions and negotiations with the Asst. District Attorney who was prosecuting my case. After reaching a plea agreement that me and my family could work with, he carefully prepared me for the plea hearing before the Judge and then carefully guided me through the entire plea process and the details of my probation. I hope I never need another Criminal Lawyer, but if I do, I will call Chuck Cowan's office

The minute I got hurt in the East Texas Oil Field, I knew I would need a good lawyer. Employers and Insurance companies will lie to you and try and get your co-workers to lie for them. I have seen it too many times and knew I was not immune from their ways. Chuck Cowan came highly recommended to me by others who had used an in jury lawyer before. I was told that he would fight hard with the Insurance carriers and would not give up or lay down. Every bit of that is true. He has done a super job with my on the job injury case and I will recommend him to anybody that I know needing a lawyer or thinking they need a lawyer. He is very down to earth and trakes time to listen to you and then explain the possibilities. I felt like I knew him my whole life.
