In 2016 I was in a car accident that left me with a 6 in metal plate on my clavicle, weeks out of work, and a huge visible scar. I’m a United States Army Combat Veteran, served in Iraq in 2004 with 1st Cavalry Division. Upon my return home my PTSD has been bad, and I was constantly self-medicating with alcohol. 11 years ago, I tried to take my life one drunk evening there in Waco. 10 years ago, to the date, my attorney on the case did terrible work and I ended up getting a 10-year probation sentence for a Felony DWI which was a suicide attempt.
