Do not waste your time calling. They will not call you back. Attorneys in this city are either con-artist, greedy, or won't return phone calls. Or all the above.

They do nothing but steal your money, never worked on my brothers case till last minute and gave them the only option but to plead guilty when there is no evidence against them or pay 12k in less then 15 days to go to trial but said either way they were going to loose and risk getting maximum sentence FOR DOING NOTHING! They do nothing but keep on resetting courts for their own benefit 5-6 months of being hired and my brothers never saw the judge! Then they withdraw from the case because you’ve taken so long to decide what to do. When they are the ones that tell you 2-3 days before court your only option is to plead guilty for something you didn’t do and they don’t have evidence against you! Not professional at all, in the middle of a meeting with us, Robert Callahan says he has to leave, like really?? Should’ve withdrawn from the case when not all the money was paid to you yet! Thanks for nothing!

Robert Callahan was great. He gave us perspective on our choices, which ultimately led to greater confidence and peace of mind. He really advocated for my family member. Nobody wants to need an attorney, but when we did, Robert Callahan was there for us.

So the attorneys are great and they do what you paid them to do, its just the office staff. They can be very rude. The communication is horrible and what one person tells you, another will say something different. One staff member (Natalie) is especially rude and do not try to complain because the office manager will back them up every single time. The office manager will talk to you like a child. So, if you are willing to put up with the rude office staff, this is the place for you but if not, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I honestly don't know where to start. First off I signed for probation and approximately two weeks later I got charged with the same crime in a different county but now this time it was a felony. Callahan & King was assigned to me as my public defender on a probation violation. Personally I have no faith in public defenders. Callahan & King changed that for me. On my 29th birthday I got a call from Marcus informing me of some news. My probation was dismissed as if it never happened with a pending charge from another county. Granted I completed everything that I needed to do under my probation. community service, fines and what not. I personally want to thank you Marcus and everyone that had anything to do with my dismissal at Callahan & King. I thought that my dreams and future was over and I got it all back on my 29th birthday. Much love and respect. Thank you for not treating me like trash as if i was already guilty. I mean that, the first attorney that I had assigned to me ( Not Callahan & King) came in the court room smiling like beer and motor oil with dirt in his nails. I knew he wasn't going to fight for me. Then I got you guys. I can't thank you enough. Blessings!!!
