My husband and I have recently worked with Shawna Doughman on our wills and trust. Our first meeting was over Zoom which was helpful for our schedules. My husband was only necessary for about 30 minutes of this appointment, so we had him join when he was needed. This was great so we could squeeze it in during business hours. She was able to give us the information necessary for us to make decisions, especially about what would happen to our minor children. I was amazed by how many things we had to think about, but she led us through it in a way that was very helpful. A month later we met to sign our documents. She went through a big binder with all of what was in our wills and trust. She went through each section, explaining what was in it and familiarizing us with the material. There was a diagram that described what the trust would look like now, if one of us died, and ultimately after we both pass away. It was really helpful. It also includes instructions in understandable English for the trustee who will take over after we both have passed. The firm moved our house into the trust. For the rest of our assets, we were given a list of instructions on how to properly adjust our accounts and beneficiaries so that our affairs will go smoothly when it is time. We will meet again to make sure everything is completed and to do a video interview for our kids. We will get to take the big binder home at that point. It is so nice to have everything in one place. I am the one who researched and found Shawna. Throughout the process, my husband has said (multiple times) how impressed he has been by how thorough she is and how well everything is organized. She has been very personable and has made this process seem so much less overwhelming.

Marianne is fantastic. She makes the entire estate planning process relatable, understandable, interesting, and even fun! I'd highly recommend her and her team to anyone.
