Dain is the BEST!!! I had recently used another attorney for a different matter, and was less than pleased with their communication (I eventually fired them)....it was a complete disaster! I was a little more than hesitant to hire another attorney after that experience, but Dain totally made the process as painless as possible, and of most importance - Dain was easy to contact, and returned all communications promptly! I was blown away, and I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Dain took care of an expungement for me over the phone and using "MyCase" from 2000 miles away. He is very responsive, professional, and reasonably priced. Dain promptly sent me a refund for expenses that were not needed when the case was compete.

I retained Dain Smoland for an expungement on a case that was handled (poorly) by another attorney. His representation was thorough, and although the prosecutor was not necessarily the most cooperative, he accomplished everything reasonably possible, and the charge was expunged. His prices were fair, and I would definitely recommend him.

I ran into some legal problems the past few months due to a Possession of Marijuana charge. I did not know what to do, or how to handle the case, or even what my options were. A quick google search brought up a few attorneys, and the first two that I called were unresponsive. However, when I called Dain, he picked up immediately, and we began the process. I hired Dain for a case of retail theft. My immigration status made the situation even more complex. I had passed the interview for naturalization but was waiting for the oath ceremony, and a case of retail theft can be considered as a crime involving moral turpitude, which could have prevented me from being naturalized. I only had two weeks to get this whole matter resolved. Fortunately Dain was very responsive, very quick. He was able to figure out which scenario would work out the best for me and was able to make it happen! I definitely recommend him, I was in a very delicate and stressful situation but everything worked out for the best.

I couldn't have hoped for a better experience than I had with Dain Smoland-- he immediately responded to all my emails and inquiries; he was personable, respectful, and friendly; he was professional and savvy about how to proceed with my expungement.
