I had an unfortunate incident involving DCFS which Ted handled very professionally. He listened and was understanding with me, but tough as nails with the DCFS worker who had mismanaged things. He called her out on all the mistakes she had made. Ted is excellent at what he does!

I have contacted close to a dozen attorneys and nobody was more responsive, helpful, professional, and informative than Randy Andrus (Employment Law) at Andrus Law Firm. He answered his phone, took time, was very thorough, and listened empathetically. After interviewing and working with so many lawyers, I have to say this was by far my best experience.

Okay so I gave a one star review on the fact that one bad person was the whole company's reflection! If their is anyone that reflexes the company it is Michael Hepworth and him as a person is what his company stands for because he is a genuine amazing nice man that is understanding and would help anybody if he truly could so I'm apologising for the bad review . Everybody knows that sometimes you have a bad one once in a while once it is rid of, in which in this case they did just that so to say thank you very much Michael Hepworth for everything you've personally done for me.

I hired Ted Weckel to defend me against a family member's Protective Order. Ted understood the process in Utah very well and strategically objected to all that the petitioner's attorney filed. In the end, the PO was vacated and dismissed with prejudice by the petitioner. The situation was resolved in 100 days. Ted was great to work with.

I have had an great experience with hiring Mr. Weckel as my attorney. He truly is a great guy that worked hard on my case. He had no problem putting me in my place when I was getting off track in some situations and I respect him for that. I'd recommend Ted to anyone that is looking for attorney.

I have had the fortunate (and unfortunate) experience of working with Ted for almost a decade on issues related to our (my husband's) divorce case; FORTUNATELY we have had Ted as an advocate and UNFORTUNATELY this case still has issues and it seems like we are always in court for something. Unlike other clients, I think I have seen Ted through almost the entire gambit of legal divorce issues. Our case went all the way through to trial, with a guardian ad litem involved. After that our case went before the Utah Court of Appeals. Following that we submitted a request to have it heard by the Supreme Court. Probably the thing that stood out to me in trial was that Ted is fantastic when it comes to cross-examination and questioning of witnesses. He represents us very well and is well prepared every time we go to court. He is honest and forthright. He has always billed fairly and is willing to openly discuss any billing issues that might arise. Additionally, he personalizes your case and doesn't just have a template that he copies your information into and then charges you as if it was written from scratch.
To Stormy (the reviewer that gave him one star) and those reading this who may be like her: I can see why someone might feel that Ted can come off as "being cold". He is not a warm, fuzzy, hold your hand, and waste your money kind of attorney. If what you are saying is not relevant, he will cut you off rather than allow you to waste your money by letting you ramble on telling stories and details that are not relevant to building a good case; BUT he is respectful. If you want an attorney to act as your mental health counselor who is going to hold your hand, let you cry, and tell you that you are right even if you are wrong, then he is not the attorney for you. But, if you want an attorney that will get to what matters in a professional and streamlined fashion and will represent you well, then Ted is the attorney for you. Trust me, he does care about you and your case. I would definitely hire him before you ex does!
