As a prepaid legal (legal shield) member since 2002, this particular law firm is a real waste of the practicality of the legal shield resources. This law firm weaseled their way out of the prepaid legal obligation to represent me in my civil case, because I turned it into them a few days late... There was only one bright spot was Clarissa West, she actually helped me, she gets 4.5 stars for doing all she could to help me... The whole legal process was 490 days and I had to represent myself in a case that this Lawfirm wanted $3,000 to represent me on a $2143 case and I lost on a technicality that a skilled practitioner of the law would have been able to win. So boo to this law firm.

I needed some advice and a letter written regarding a property dispute. I have Legal Shield membership which is serviced through Smart, Schofield, and Shorter. I was assisted by Attorney West, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient, professional, and very responsive to my phone calls and requests. I had considered cancelling my Legal Shield Membership several times as I had not used it in the past 10 years, but this experience has demonstrated to me the value in keeping my membership active.

I worked with Mr Snow and he went up and beyond to help me with my legal issue. Very happy with the service . Reccomend this law firm.

They will do as little work as possible for you, even when you’ve been with them for years. I had more success calling Capital One to get an unlawful charge refunded than I did with them sending a letter.

Receptionist has no respect or knowledge, thanks for a free consultation o wait i couldn't even get that. Worse service ever.
