Mr. Millar was a wonderful attorney to work with. Throughout the entire process, from the date I first reached out for a consult, up until the end of mediation, he was honest with me about my options and helped guide me toward the best possible outcome based on my needs. He and his team were extremely professional and it was clear he is very knowledgeable. Whenever I had a question, he and his team were quick to answer with a thorough response. The care and dedication that his team took really demonstrated that they cared about me as a client and wanted me to be successful. He did well at making me feel confident in mediation, which was extremely helpful during what could have potentially been a high stress situation. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mothers, BEWARE. Sam Sorenson comes across as a kind, caring man. He will meet with you and your children. Sam will make you feel like he understands your situation and will help. HE WILL NOT. Sam is a father’s advocate. Our custody dispute has been challenging. While divorcing and creating custody calendars, my teenage children wanted and needed an advocate. Sam came highly recommended, and I hired and paid for his services on behalf of my children. During litigation and attempted custody offers, Sam was included as the children’s Guardian ad Litem. Sam never inserted his opinion – when asked, he would say, “I don’t have any concerns.” During our Judicial Settlement, he appeared as required but did not offer his opinion. In our Judicial Settlement, our Judge worked with us to create a calendar that split holidays, weekends, summer and navigated the school year schedule to meet the children’s needs, wants, and wishes along with our views as parents. He was clear about what he felt was right and helped us come to a solution that we as parents, agreed to; neither party got what they wanted, but the schedule was fair and equitable. When that two-year calendar ended, Sam Sorenson was to Arbitrate the children’s custody schedule. We paid him to help us find a solution. Instead of acting as a mediator – he acted as a Judge in a hearing. Adopting the EASIEST solution without giving any thought to it. Sam is an advocate for Father’s and believes that Dad’s should have as much custody as possible, regardless of their willingness to do the weekday work. In Sam’s rulings 2 years in a row – he adopted custody calendars that changed holiday rotation that had been in place for 3 years and gave 8 of 11 holiday weekends / breaks to my ex-husband. 2 years in a row I did not have Labor Day weekend, Christmas, or Thanksgiving with my children. The custody calendars Sam has adopted are not equitable and takes quality Mother - Child summer and holidays time. While, leaving me with the responsibility of the weekday work of being a parent. For four years, Sam has done the bare minimum. For the past two years, he refused to meet or speak with me. He would only communicate via email, but would not respond acknowledging receipt. It has become evident that he did not read email communication. Do NOT hire SAM SORENSON. Your children will pay the price.

I was in a bind, and Kyle Witherspoon was incredible! I could not be happier with my choice. Katelyn his paralegal was fantastic, as is their entire operation. If you need family law representation, I cannot imagine a better firm! His filings put me behind the eight ball later, but I forgive easily, and intend to raise this back to five stars once I settle my bill.

I highly recommend working with Kyle Witherspoon (and his team)! He was kind, efficient, solution oriented, puts his clients first, and constantly made suggestions that would not only help the current situation we were in, but are also likely to protect us from further legal needs in the future. We considered it a huge win when he helped us settle in mediation and avoid litigation. I was impressed with his entire staff, starting with the detailed email Jen (Sr. Paralegal) sent us prior to our first consultation. She had already reviewed our current Decree and listed the case details which allowed us to get right into a great consult with Kyle. We also worked closely with Katelyn who was just as organized and on top of things. Overall, I could not rave about them more and highly recommend scheduling a consult with them before considering anyone else.

When my attorney (Sam Sorensen) calls me after business hours to update on a matter that could have waited till the next business day when he could be with his family who I could hear in the background, it spoke volumes through action as to the type of professionalism, commitment and most importantly, empathy, for a client that had been waiting 4 months for a resolution that took him only 2 weeks since retaining to complete. Need I say more as to why you should retain him too?

I highly recommend this law firm. I was treated very well as a client. I'm so glad I didn't do my divorce without a lawyer and chose Kyle to represent me. Kyle's genius negotiating, communication skills, and knowledge of the law are top notch. Because of him I was able to settle my divorce case quickly and easily. His paralegal Katelyn was also very efficient, kind, and great at what she does. If you are looking for a lawyer to protect your rights and stand up for you and what you deserve then you need this law firm. It's definitely worth a consultation.

Unprofessional, Hard to communicate with, Dishonest and not good with the kids assigned. Unethical. Keeps families in turmoil for his own profit instead of healing and growth.

I am not the type of person to write a review. Today I feel like this may help someone in the future... I made an appointment with (Sorensen Witherspoon) and waited couple of weeks for my appointment. On the day of my appointment (today) I was so anxiously waiting for I got a TEXT an hour and a half before my appointment time and was told that my appointment was canceled due to the lawyer having court. Now I understand lawyers have court and things pop up. "Sorensen Witherspoon" said the only next appointment to replace my current appointment they are canceling is in a week! I explained how urgent and important my case was to them. They still insisted I wait another week despite the fact I had already waited weeks for my appointment today! If I had known this could or would have happened I would have had other lawyer appointments lined up! I have never been treated like this by any company! Im so very thankful I didn't end up with this heartless law firm your running (Sorensen Witherspoon) because I want someone who CARES to handle my case. I clearly was shown this is absolutely not the place!! BEWARE!
