I had an accident at work. Something fell on my left shoulder. As a result of it the rotator cuff had a couple tears on it. My employer and workers comp said that my shoulder like that because i had arthritis... but the truth of it was that arthritis or not arthritis an 80 pounds light box fell on my shoulder and before that...i was working as hard as anyone in the shop. It didn't matter... workers comp refused to pay for the surgery. I had to have my own insurance to cover for it and i had to spend my last penny saved because i was in a lot of pain all day. Once again the little guy was getting stamped on by a system that protects the buissnes owners and the state. I started calling around...I needed to find someone that will fight for the little guy...i ended up finding the Utah Injury Law Center. They put me on the phone with this really nice and confident gentleman named Ben Gruber and the first thing i told him was "i need somebody that will fight for the little guy." and he said " That's me! That's what we do here, we fight for the little guy!" ... and before we even have to go to court for the case that nobody wanted to take on.
