I was not treated like I mattered at all by these people; I was not contacted at all during the 5 months between when I hired them and my court date (which I had to call them and leave several messages to even confirm when I should show up). I was told my lawyer would "research and let me know every step of the way what we were doing" and I couldn't even get her to return my phone calls. I showed up after all this time and was told verbatim what I told her in our initial meeting and that there was nothing we could do, we could plead for a lesser deal if the d.a. was game(and I received a sentence that was no joke the exact same sentence for my crime as stated on the DMV website even after the d.a. accepted her "plea".....yea). Don't waste your money on these people, they won't try and lift a finger to help you and then they'll try and make it seem like they did all they could when in reality you're an easy paycheck and you could've represented yourself if you are a well spoken intelligent person who can do simple research into the system and convey your case to a judge.

I was driving through Virginia to visit family when I was stopped and written a ticket for reckless driving. I called Mark Hurt's law office and they told exactly what I would need to do prior to the trial. Got the news that my charge had been reduced to defective equipment and all I had to do was pay 250 dollars plus fees. This firm saved me time, money, and a criminal record. Mark Hurt did a fabulous job at settling my claim .Between him and Carol Cordie they made it very pleasant and I loved working with them. They made you feel like a person not a money machine.
