We could not have picked a better lawyer to walk with us through this difficult time. My husband was a high income earner, who changed jobs with promises made that did not pan out. We found ourselves drowning in debt without the income needed to pay it off and after struggling to make things work for almost 2 years, we finally came to the conclusion that we had no other choice but to declare bankruptcy. It was not something we ever saw for ourselves and it was emotionally very difficult.
