My wife was charged with Reckless driving, resulting from a motor vehicle accident. While searching for an attorney, I ran across Jason Barlow and reached out. Mr Barlow spoke with my wife and after there initial conversation, she felt a sense of relief, and stated” my case is in good hands”. While awaiting the court date Mr Barlow and his staff, maintained contact with my wife, answering the multitude of questions she had. On the day of the court appearance, Mr Barlow met with my wife in a timely fashion and explained the process for the day. The case was dismissed. This is the most professional and direct law firms I've ever seen in my entire life. Mr. Barlow is a wonderful attorney he is a man of his word and everything that he stated to me as well as my son happened just like he said. It does not get better than that. The wonderful paralegals and assistants working in his office are awesome as well. They are so on point and prompt about everything they do. Outstanding job! My Attorney Jason Barlow was extremely insightful and knowledgeable. Also very patient with all my questions, and took the time to answer them in full detail. In court he was on top of his game no hesitation no pauses. His Paralegal Christina Whitmore did a great job of updating me, and communication was also amazing between the emails and phone calls. Jason Barlow is a straight shooter and was an absolute sniper in the courtroom!!! He was highly recommended to us based on his background, so we gave him the opportunity to mange our civil matter case. After a few emails we set up a meeting to discuss our case/situation and he determined that we had a solid case. Our case was continued on two occasions which added about another 60 days of anxiety. When we finally got our day in court it was a slam dunk. Jason took the time to walk us through what to expect, and frankly he was spot on. Like I said he was a straight shooter and honest, he did not promise the world. He said that we had a strong case and to trust him. I am glad that we went with him. Too bad there is no option to leave zero stars. I am leaving this comment as a warning about a particular attorney at Parks Zeigler Chesapeake, Mrs. Shelly F. Wood. I would highly recommend not to seek counsel with her. Based on my experience, she was extremely unprofessional, rude, and condescending. Mrs. Wood never heard of the adage “you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.” In my case, she failed to instill me with any confidence and appeared to be fearful about the prospect of my case making it to court. Lastly, she is very proud of an hourly rate of $425 an hour and happily reminded me several times that she is content to take it from me. Hopefully, this review will save some poor sap from retaining her and save their hard-earned money for a more professional lawyer.

Such a waist of my money paid him Couple hundred dollars for Consultation took less than 10 minutes no answer no nothing no help he ask me he has no answer and I have to figure out what’s going on with my case and let him know he didn’t even want to even look at it !! one the Ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard from attorney he is collecting Consultation fee that’s all he does 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
