Every case or ticket is different. So take this review with a grain of salt if you reading this and considering hiring The Gordon Law Firm for your legal issue. I was pulled over in Fairfax County on Route 66. Going a little too fast, fast enough to land me with a very expensive and serious ticket. I was wrecked with anxiety and after doing a quick google search I found The Gordon Law Firm and another. I placed emails with both firms that night. Both firms had stellar reviews the The Gordon Law Firm edging out the other very slightly. First thing the next morning the other law firm contacted me laid out their plan and proposal and price. Alex Gordon called me a day later on his personal cell phone. He laid out his plan and proposal and price. He explained to me the severity of my case and the worst case outcome but then he also put me at ease right away explaining to me despite this I was in good shape with my driving record. He told me what to do and why, he was very clear. His plan was a bit different from the other law firm but explained me what I was doing and why it was important for me to do it. Alex had the higher rating and was clearer with his plan of action. His rate was close enough to the other firm and so I decided to retain him and his partner Carlos Wall. I was given personal cell numbers to both and told if I was worried or had questions about anything regarding the case to give them a call. Vanessa their legal assistant was a great help as well and she communicated very clearly and quickly with emails. During the months leading to trial I tried not to bother Alex too much but my nerves got the better of me and I contacted him a few times both times he assured me that everything was going to be alright. I had done everything he had asked, so I would just have to wait and let him do his thing. On the day of my case I got a little curve ball due to some schedule issues with the courts, Alex could not handle my case. Carlos Wall his partner stepped in and I was bit nervous as even though I retained the law firm and Alex had mentioned that Carlos could step in if needed. I really only dealt with Alex so far. Meeting with Carlos, like Alex he put me at ease quickly and understood why I was nervous. He told me not worry and that he would take care of things. He explained to me confidently exactly what would happen given my situation. Carlos was exactly right. He got my charge reduced to the best possible outcome. To anyone who read all this review. I recommend you hire The Gordon Law Firm for any type of case traffic case in Northern Virginia, especially Fairfax County. They will both work hard to get you the best possible outcome for your case.

I was in a state of despair after my legal incident and had absolutely no hopes that the judge or DA would even consider reducing my charges. I trusted Alex and Carlos with not only my personal life, but that of my professional one as well. The charges as they were had the ability to greatly impact my employment and way of life. Due to their solid reputation and years of fostering relationships within the Fairfax County legal community, Carlos and Alex were able to negotiate a very favorable result compared to what I was previously facing. Though I do not plan on putting myself in a situation like that again, if something was to happen then Gordon Law Firm would be my first choice.

When I first met him I had the feeling that he is the right person who can help me out. I couldn't say I was worried about trial, but because of Jon I had less pressure. He pulls out some magical skill when he talks to prosecutor. Before the trial, I have no idea what he said to prosecutor but I bet it was something amazing that the prosecutor offered RAC driving. He takes care his people like his family. I highly recommand to hire Mr. Katz if you got arrested for DUI.

Jon Katz is an outstanding attorney. I spent a lot of time searching for attorneys and honesty choosing him was the best decision I made. He is a hard worker and very dedicated. He is a guru in the court rooms. You can’t go wrong with hiring him. Don’t search anymore, just hire him, you won’t regret it.

After being involved in a car accident in Maryland, I was charged with several violations that I didn’t feel were justified and it put me in a position where I had to find a Defense Attorney to fight for me. Mr. Jonathan Katz is an outstanding lawyer with our case. He helped us every step of the way. He is not a dollar sign of a lawyer, rich or poor he treats them with respect and care and will do above and beyond to get the justice done. He will never leave you hanging instead he will guide you through. Mr. Jonathan Katz treats me as a friend not just a client. We were in the middle of a family crisis when he handled my case. I don'tfrankly don't know how we would have done it without Mr. Katz. My family and I are so grateful for finding him. I highly recommend his law firm. Don't think second thoughts, he is the only one who can help a person in desperate times.

fantastic attorney....defended me on a possession charge in maryland .Was thorough and never skipped any details, I follow jon on his underdog blog, and have learned much . His eye does not miss a detail, and is quick to point out discrepancies in the prosecution's evidence. I also enjoy his posting on trips to historical sites, as Jon is an avid fan of civil rights events, past and present...I would highly suggest hiring Jon whether it is a traffic violation, or a higher case.

I recieved no type of privileged driving my lower tickets were not dropped off like they would have been if we took the pled bargain. And when I had trouble getting what was offered to me he said he would no longer help me so I was left with a 4000 dollar bill and nothing to show for it!
