Early in December a seemingly-healthy close friend passed away suddenly. At forty-five years old, his wife of seventeen years was left behind to care for the physical and emotional needs of their five young children ages 2-15 years old. To help lighten her unexpected load, I contacted a few law firms for a consultation to answers some estate questions that had significant financial ramifications. Although ready to pay the regular hourly rate, I was disappointed in not only the availability of services but the poor responses from well-known and well-respected law firms in Fairfax county. Being married to an attorney who was licensed and practiced in another state this was especially disconcerting, I decided to contact the VA Bar Association and learned of a service provided by participating law firms for a $35 half hour consultation. Not only was I provided immediately the contact information for PJI Law, PLC, when I called to make an appointment Intake Specialist, Thomas Hartley, was available to answer my call. He took a great deal of time to learn about our specific needs, determined the best attorney match, and scheduled a consultation immediately. He was professional, sensitive to the situation, and more than accommodating. When we arrived at the appointment, we were greeted and seated in the conference room immediately by the professional and pleasant reception personnel employees. Within minutes Attorney Kyle Grabulis, joined us. He was knowledgable, personable, and professional. He provided succinct and timely information to provide direction to move forward and confidence in his abilities to continue to work together. The need for legal assistance often occurs during difficult times. The experience with Thomas Hartley, Kyle Grabulis, and PJI Law in Fairfax, Virginia made a challenging situation manageable. I would recommend their services highly.
