Mr. Simms is by far the best lawyer and advocate that any person could ever wish for! This man knows his stuff and he doesn’t stop until he has exhausted every avenue and possibility that he can find! He doesn’t allow the people of the state or so called commonwealth to take advantage of you as a public defender would! He doesn’t back down and he doesn’t quit! If he’s on your team you can guarantee that he will do any and everything he can to make sure you win and that means he becomes a part of not only your legal team but also to me as family! He told me from day one that he had my back and he never let me down and he never left me out to dry! He kept me out of prison for a life sentence that the state were certain they had me on based off of lies and hearsay, but Mr. Simms wouldn’t allow it and he proved to me to be the best lawyer and by him having the experience and expertise that he does, he saved my life and was worth every penny spent! I've worked with the firm twice, once for my divorce and again to enforce terms of my divorce. Both experiences were positive. At age 60 I have never needed or hired an attorney. I was charged with 6 felonies which carried a punishment of 17 years to life imprisonment. After hiring an attorney of who I never met (only what I would describe as an apprentice of whom he hired) and attempting to get more money from my wife after being jailed we fired him. We then hired a second who wanted a quick plea deal with jail time. Then Jonathan contacted me as he had been following the case. He put every once of his energy into my case. He kept me apprised of everything he was doing, answered or contacted me immediately when I reached out to him and laid out my choices. The bottom line is Jonathan was able to have my 6 felonies reduced to a misdemeanor with 1 year probation and no jail time. We had spoke to Jonathan initially and went with someone else, DON’T make the same mistake, hire Jonathan 1st. We believe Mr. Simms would have won if it would have gone to trial but I was not willing to put my life in the hands of a number of jurors. Jonathan is an ethical, hard working, intelligent attorney and honorable man. He is worth every penny paid and was actually less expensive than each of the 1st 2 we hired. I just can’t say enough about Jonathan Simms.

Ms. Zamaya helped me modify my custody’s agreement. She was very thorough and detail-oriented. She responded quickly and always kept me in the loop as to what was going on. When she wasn’t available Ms. Tran always let me know when to expect a response. I’d definitely recommend Ms. Zamaya and hire her again.

I recently used Livesay & Myers, P.C. for divorce and custody proceedings. I can’t stress how amazing Attorney Nuehausen, and her paralegal Ms. Membrano, were throughout the entire process.
