I hired Shirley for my custody case. It was a very high conflict case with a difficult opposing party. We tried to negotiate multiple times and to come to an agreement to avoid court. Shirley was always willing to do things the way I wanted to, but also provided advice and direction based on her knowledge of how the courts work and on her knowledge of my case specifics. She was very honest and never sugar coated anything but was realistic based on the facts that we had. She prepared me so well both mentally and in the trial prep. Things change and come up instantly while in trial and she was so quick to pick up on my notes, and to include new things in her questions and closing argument. She was always very down to earth with me and understanding, which is so important in a case and in a time like this.
